Pure Play Media Releases First Title From Suze Randall Productions!
April 28th, 2004 (Chatsworth, CA): Though most widely known as the first lady of erotic photography, Suze Randall is turning back the clock to step behind a video camera for the first time in 18 years and is now releasing her first new title under her production company (as distributed through Pure Play Media Inc.), Addicted To Sex starring Anais, Sophie Evans, Jana Cova, Lanny Barby, Cherry Rain and more!
“It’s got a lot of my favorite girls in it,” says Randall. “Lanny Barby ” who is French Canadian, and I absolutely adore her ” she’s our box cover girl. She’s so sexy… she’s like a Marilyn Monroe brunette ” I shot her for Penthouse. We’ve got a wonderful threesome with Cherry Rain, Toni Ribas and Sophie, which was a really hot shoot. And Katsumi is an amazing performer. Anais is another of my Penthouse Pets. Michael Ninn has allowed me to share her, and she’s truly beautiful. She does a very, very hot scene with Jana Cova. I think if I can keep all of my titles as hot as this one down the line, everyone is going to be very happy.”
Randall has a distinctive artistic eye, as evidenced by the multitude of layouts she’s shot for the top titles in adult magazines. Though it was a challenge to find that perfect balance for video, Randall found she was able to recreate the same look and feel that dominates her stills work.
“There’s a balance between the heat, lighting and mood in stills, and you want that to transfer well to video ” you want to do your best,” Randall explains. “[Michael] Ninn was a great help because he wanted me to capture the glamour and beauty of film. What enables me to do these great sets and productions is that I shoot the couples in stills first and cover the photo session in video at the same time. We use this documentary footage to create a montage so you really get to know the girl. Then we cut directly to the sex ” straight sex, straight passion. It really works ” I just want the beautiful girls, the beautiful sex and the pure passion.”
Also on set with Randall was her daughter Holly, who took on the daunting task of helping with directing as well as taking on some of the camera work duties for Addicted.
Says Randall, “My daughter helped me direct, and she’s becoming a great camerawoman. That’s really exciting. For this kind of production it’s much better for the director to be behind the camera, and she’s got a great eye. I’m really thrilled.”
