REVIEW-
The first part of Private’s Gladiator was a great feature with excellent production values and hot chicks. I would imagine that we’re in for more of the same in part two. Usually they do a nice little recap at the start of a movie, but we don’t get one here. Let’s see if I can bring us all up to date. Tony Ribas plays Maximus, a former general in the Roman army. After winning a big victory, he was hand picked to take the throne. The emperor’s son kills his father to make sure the throne is his. Throw in the new emperor’s hot cousin who also used to bang Maximus and you have the makings for a fun filled sequel.
As we begin part two, the new emperor is already singing his own praises and angering the Senate. He also has his eyes on his beautiful cousin who wants Maximus transferred to Rome. To cover his tracks, he tells her that Maximus has returned to his wife without a word. To drown her sorrows, the princess enjoys a bath with two lovely women and one very lucky guy. With the maidens play with each other, the guy gets to enjoy the royal mouth. She is so pretty that the blowjob footage is fantastic. With the girls still going at it nearby, she rolls over and gets pounded by his big cock. After a good fuck, she gets a slow motion pop right on her beautiful face.
Maximus is being trained as a gladiator and reminded that if he wants to be a hero; he will have to satisfy the peoples’ lust for blood. Maximus finds out that if he goes to Rome to fight, he may have the chance to cross swords with the emperor. Back in the palace, one of the Senators tries to rally support to take down the emperor. Julian St. Jox is a slave trader who buys Maximus and his blonde companion. He put the girl up in a brothel, but she is too tough to fall victim to any hanky panky right away. Instead we watch everyone else getting it on. Sophie Evans is one of the hottest girls in the brothel and she lights things up with a very satisfied soldier. Julian is also quite busy with a nice looking blonde girl and a pair of working girls also stay warm nearby. Sophie is the hottest girl working in this scene by a long shot. The blonde with Julian is pretty, but has a bit of a blank stare as he fucks her. There is some good action and nice facial shots, but it would have been nice to really see Sophie get the attention she deserves.
The new emperor is haunted by bad dreams and confesses everything to his beautiful cousin. That doesn’t make her happy, but she doesn’t make her move right away. Maximus and his band of gladiators gets their shot in the Coliseum and they impress from the start. The battle scenes are very well done and certainly worthy of praise. When the battle is done, Maximus reveals his identity to the crowd. His life is spared, setting up the final battle to come. After the hard fought victory, the gladiators are given women to celebrate. (Hey, haven’t we scene this scene already?) The princess tries to get Maximus to lead the people and to help convince him she offers herself. As they did in the first movie, Tony and Rita work well together. She wraps her beautiful lips around his cock and uses her tits to help entice him to fuck her pussy. With that out of the way get a somewhat random one on one scene between one of the guards and the princess’ handmaidens. She is very good with her mouth and gives us plenty of eye candy in spoon. Rich women are able to pay to play with some of the gladiators and that leads us right into our final sex scene. The side by side action doesn’t look much different than the other scenes in the movie, with some good looking doggy, decent oral action and anal from the wealthy women. The DP is nice, but I can’t get into the slow motion popshots no matter how hot the faces are.
As is often the case with the middle movie in a trilogy, the story slows down a bit in Gladiator 2. The technical aspects are as good as ever and the bonus material is still very solid. (This one is a single disc instead of the double we got with part one.) We get to see Rita do some very hot scenes this time around and the rest of the cast is top notch as well. Sophie Evans adds a great scene this time around. I still am not down with so many group scenes and the slow motion is always a bad thing for hard-core heat. It’s still an impressive piece of work; though I’m not as impressed with part two as I was with part one.
