The folks at Mayhem seem ready for their company to really take off. After securing Aurora Snow as a contract star/director, they have been adding some of the most respected male talent and putting them behind the camera. Jay Ashley, Mr. Marcus and Alex Sanders have all agreed to shoot for the new label, bringing experience and their own style to the table. As the Mayhem roster grows, Mr. Pete has joined the fold and brought us their first POV release. Pete brings some serious meat to the table, using his experience as a performer to hopefully add heat to his entry into the POV craze. As a big fan of the POV work done by Mike John, Rodney Moore, Seymore Butts and others, I am looking forward to seeing what Pete can do with his flick. He has a pretty hot cast, including Kaylynn and Haley. He’s also got a couple of other reliable guys to sling the meat when he isn’t doing double duty himself.

Brandi Lyons is first out of the gate and while she is not a personal favorite, she looks really good during the tease sequence. There is a lot of quick-cutting as she shoves toys up her ass. This is the way most all-sex movies are shot, but I’m not completely sure that it’s a perfect fit for the POV genre. Once this segment is over, we settle into the usual heavy eye contact blowjob. Brandi does have really pretty eyes and seems to like what she’s doing. That adds a lot to the action. I know that some people are POV purists and they don’t like to see anything but first-person footage during the scene. There is a second camera here and about half of the blowjob is shot more like a regular scene. As she starts to ride his cock, the camera in Pete’s hand is visible from the second angle. Is that a bad thing? I guess it depends on how true to the concept you want the sex to remain. I think that it can add a lot to the scene and it gives the editor something to cut away to for transitions. That said, the best shots of Brandi fucking come from the camera Pete is holding on his chest as she grinds in reverse cowgirl. The second camera does a nice job of capturing her ass in doggy as Pete stays still and lets Brandi do the work. He gets her to gape big time in this position and then finishes up with a long RCA. Once the first load is dropped the scene picks up a bit. Pete goes into her ass and Haley turns into quite the hot little slut. There is some good reverse cowgirl, but it’s way too short.

Kaylynn and Honey team up to provide a whole lot of hot female flesh. The tease doesn’t last very long at all before the girls go after some cock. Kaylynn is a blowjob expert who doesn’t need any help, so Honey is just an added mouth to an already hot POV shot. Like the other scenes, this one features two cameras and I have to say that cutting away from POV blowjob with Kaylynn is just never a good idea. It does a little something when he starts fucking her from behind though, giving us a longer shot to go along with the high angle of her spectacular cheeks. He leave the warm comfort of her slit to give Honey’s mouth and ass a bit of meat. That leaves Kaylynn alone to play with her toy. The action picks up when she drops the dildo in favor of the dick. There are lighting issues during the POV footage of this portion of the scene. Her energy is really good and that ass is first class, but the shots don’t quite do her justice. The girls double up for the facial and that part is really good. This is one of the scenes in this movie that proves that POV is really tough to shoot well and I imagine it will take Pete some time to really get it down.

Lucy Lee is a nasty young thing who gets gagged with her own panties at the start of her scene. She bends over and there are some brief moments where the POV is great, but we should be thankful for the second camera during this part. One of the things I like about this movie is that Pete is a good performer. His POV camerawork is not the best, but at least the wood is taken care of. Sabina looses some of her enthusiasm as he starts fucking her ass, but she takes it all and we get some great shots of her big backside. The popshot isn’t very well captured, but overall the scene is pretty decent.

There are some serious problems with this movie, but they can be worked out. If Mr. Pete is going for a POV line then he is going to have to change the way it’s shot. The second camera can add a lot of good footage to a movie, but it is overdone here taking away from the actual POV shots. Pete is a very solid performer, so he slings the meat really well. It’s his camerawork that could really use some help at this point. I’m not really bagging on Pete because it’s damn hard to shoot and fuck at the same time. In time, he will get better and perhaps the mix between the two cameras will get even better. The movie could use a little work in the editing bay as well. Some of the tease stuff was OK, but it could use a little polish. All that said, this is the first volume of a new series (and one that is really tough to shoot well) and there is some really good stuff here. With work, it should become really good.
