REVIEW-

Evolution Erotica is trying something a little different form the other new companies fighting for market share. In a time when gonzo and wall to wall sex movies dominate the shelf space, Tom Byron hired Guy Capo to shoot features for the new company. (Since Byron himself has the raincoater market covered.) Capo’s first movie “American Gunk” and had a mixed reaction to it. The sex didn’t do it for me, but it was clear from this initial effort that he has some serious skills as a film maker. This is his second effort and I’ve heard good things about it. I’m also looking forward to seeing a little cameo by Selena Silver’s husband who got a nice little non-sex role as a journalist. Capo’s new flick if a full tilt assault on the senses that follows a fictitious band and all of the fun that comes from living a rock and roll life.

The first ten minutes of the movie take place at a wild party. It serves as an introduction to the band and allows Dick Nasty to scream at people for a while. There is some sex going on as well, with Selena Silver being nailed by one of the guys in the band, but that really is just background fodder. The footage is really well edited and looks like a mainstream movie. I really like the way it looks, but obviously the sex will have to take center stage at some point.

As the party fades, the guys just keep on fucking. Tony Tedeschi shares a girl with one of his band mates. Across the room Allysin Chaynes is giving a really good blowjob to another guy in the band. As the anal sex on the couch ends, Allysin mounts cock and starts riding. The guy tosses her onto the floor for some piledriver footage before he blasts off all over her face. Apparently the sex has taken over now because we roll right into Selena sucking Tony’s fat cock. She smacks it against her face and getting it ready to take deep inside her little pussy. The sex in this movie is already more strokeable than in Gunk and by the time Tony bends Selena over for some hard anal action, this one is starting to really heat up. When he pulls out to shoot on her face, the angle is less than optimal, but this is still a nice sexual run.

When the band hits the road, the bus is missing some hot putty. No worries though, Katie Morgan and another blonde are brought on to provide entertainment. Katie looks like a sexy little groupie and has great oral skills to I really hate that she has to share the screen because the cutting back and forth is a bit of a bone-kill. For the first time in the movie, the sex suffers a bit from the editing. Sometimes less is more and I know that I am not alone in wishing I could just watch Katie get fucked. The facials at the end are really good, but we really only need one horny blonde for this scene.

Things go badly for the band when they lose their lead singer. Two groupies show up at the funeral and manage to get their way in using their assets. Katrina and Brooke come in, drop to their knees and do some side by side sucking. (On the living band members.) The quick-cut editing threatens to give us all a headache, but both of these girls know how to suck. Everyone gets Katrina ready for some anal with lots of fingers and tongue action. After a very shot poke in the pooper the guys shoot all over her face.

Guy Capo’s second movie is much more entertaining than his first. I’m still somewhat torn because the strength is on the technical end and not on the sexual side of the ledger. What impresses me most about this movie is how much it looks like a mainstream feature or a rock documentary. Capo’s skills as a film maker can’t be debated. He’s good, damn good. The camera work, script and editing is really good. It’s got a great soundtrack and never loses the documentary feel. As strong as he is with this part of things, the sex could still use a little work. It’s a lot better than in Gunk, but I still think that the raincoat crowd is going to be lost during much of this flick. There is a good cast on hand, especially Katie and Selena. They both give good scenes, though Katie has to share some time and that takes away some heat from her fuck on the bus. So overall what’s the score? This is a really impressive movie that just happens to have sex in it. That has a great thing, but it’s somewhat limited as a piece of pornography. So yeah, it has a great beat, but can you stroke to it? That’s up to you.

The bonus disc is packed with extras. Capo’s behind the scenes notes are pretty interesting. He dissects the movie and is very candid about the process. The production assistant also does a behind the scenes reel. There are photo galleries that are divided up by scene to make it easy to find the girls you like. We also get a cumshot recap and trailers for other Evolution. For the music lovers out there, you can just listen to the soundtrack. It’s not exactly my cup of tea musically, but it’s very solid.
