I love the disclaimer at the start of every Jerome Tanner movie. He promises us a hell of a show if we just give him 90 minutes. His movies can’t compete with the big features by Wicked, VCA or Digital Playground because of budgets (and advertising dollars). On the other hand, his movies aren’t exactly raincoater stuff. They remind me a lot of the early video features, before everything went to hell for features. Most of them are funny, with a dash of costume fetish appeal thrown into the mix. Tanner’s movies remind me of Adam Sandler comedies.
