When I first saw this box I laughed a little at the title. “Julie’s Back” made me think that perhaps we have gotten a little to fetish oriented. I mean Julie is a hot girl, but do we really care what her back looks like? Yeah OK that was cheesy. The title refers to the return of Julie Meadows to the world of porn. I’m not sure the comeback lasted more than one movie, but it’s nice to see her in front of the camera again. She is joined by a rather ordinary collection of guys and girls. At the helm is Roy Karch who throws together some decent stroke movies from time to time. I wouldn’t expect a home rum from most scenes, but Julie is always capable of giving us something great.

Julie is back in porn after taking a year off to feature dance. As she rides to the set, she talks about all of the things she misses about porn. We’ve missed her as well, but have to wait to see her in action. While Julie is saying hello to all of her hold friends on set, Kurt Lockwood and Naudia Nyce hook up. Is it just me or does this pairing spark little or no interest? The camera seems to be set up half way across the room as she goes down and starts sucking. Julie saves the day by joining the action. She gives us some really good looking blowjob footage, but we’re also staring at director Roy Karch (Who has made himself part of the scene for some reason.) Barrett Blade and Nicole Brazzle are up next. The scene feels similar and the guys are interchangeable, but at least Nicole turns up the heat a bit. Julie looks so cute that I can’t help but be disappointed when she leaves the room. When Gia takes over she does one hell of a nice job. I don’t like the low angle footage, but we do get to see her deep throat his cock and extend her skilled tongue to lick his balls. Damn that’s good stuff. If you’re looking for a great Julie Meadows performance then prepare to be disappointed. She teases in a few scenes and then pops up for only one full fuck. A few of the other scenes aren’t too bad, but nothing above average except for Nicole’s scene. I love the way Julie gets her mouth into the action in the other scenes, but it’s horribly frustrating when she vanishes and we end up with forgettable sex. Even in the big scene, she shares the spotlight for a while. That isn’t the worst part though. Even during her scene, we miss out on what Julie does best. She turns in a fine DP, but we don’t get to see those great legs in any extended reverse cowgirl. No one is happier than I am to see Julie back than I am, but she is the only memorable thing about this movie.
