REVIEW-

I guess it had to happen some time. I was bound to get my hands on a Vivid-Alt title and run it through the DVD player. This one is directed by one Eon McKai’s wave of new directors, Winkytiki. I would insert a Teletubby joke here, but I can’t help but think that a Winkytiki sounds an awful lot like what you get after a particularly unpleasant round of anal sex. (No genius, that’s a stinky-winkie.) All kidding aside, this movie has a definite sense of style. It looks like a good old fashioned exploitation flick with some hardcore action thrown in. There isn’t much of a plot and this title has very little dialog. Given the sort of scripts alt-porn has given us, that is bound to be a blessing. Perhaps Winky (That’s Mr. Tiki to you Rog) can focus on what this genre does best. Just keep the sets looking cool, the camera focused on the girls and give us a great soundtrack.

Kimberly ends several minutes of eye-catching nonsense by shoving a pair of panties into Nadia Styles’ mouth. This is the pin-up version of the alt-girl attacking the pretty little Britney clone. The clothes are cool and Kimberly always brings an air of believability to such scenes. She bends Nadia over there and fingers her ass like a girl with a serious grudge against the prom queen type. The toy play here is very good and Kimberly carries the action throughout. They make interesting use of a heel (as a gag) and give new meaning to the term “phone sex.” I am tempted to really like this movie in spite of the shaky camerawork, but by the time the girls switch roles, we are closing in on a half hour’s worth of veggie footage. As much as I like watching Kimberly bent over with the heel of her shoe used for sexual gratification, this scene ends up suffocating from a serious lack of editing.

Lexi Bardot shows up, tosses some silly dialog around and ends up getting manhandled by Mr. Pete and another guy. They bend her over and fuck her at both ends, slapping her on the ass as she spits, drools and begs them to do it harder. There are some lighting issues and the camerawork makes us nostalgic for the good old days of Wayne’s World extreme close-up subtle movements, but there is some rough sex energy coming off of this threesome. They slam both of her holes at once and she manages to take a quite an anal pounding. You don’t generally see gaping ass shots in Vivid movies, but you also don’t usually see camerawork this shaky. Following this kind of energy isn’t easy, but it can be done without making the audience feel as if they are stowing away on the Pinta. Big points for energy and that is what really counts.

Dragonlily puts on a long bondage tease sequence. She is all tied up and has things shoved into her holes. Clothespins are attached to her breasts and labia as she lightly struggles against her bonds. This is interesting if you like bondage and light torture, but will have limited appeal outside of that arena.

The only thing that can distract a hillbilly from shining up his ride is a naughty girl in a tight pair of cutoffs. Angie Savage shakes her ass and drags her tattooed love bunny inside to suck his hard cock. The first half of this scene is really well shot and kind of hot if you like inked up girls with super long legs and big tits. Things get a bit shaky later with some questionable angles and some shots that are just flat out missed. He sprays down her face at the end of a scene that feels somehow too short compared to the others.

Page and Mysti team up for a little bit of integration magic with Tyler. They spit all over his throbbing cock and pass it back and forth. Any chances of this scene being as original as it should be go right out the window when the girls do that stupid fake thing. Tyler rams his dick into Mysti while she buries her face between her friends parted thighs. Page isn’t quite as hot as her friend and really lags behind when Mysti bends over for some fantastic standing doggy.

A good alt-porn flick? Not really, but the soundtrack, wardrobe and make are all pretty good. There is some decent sexual energy coming from the cast, even if they aren’t exactly going to blow anyone’s doors off. Kimberly Kane’s opening scene is hot and very interesting. Watching her work over the naughty deb reminds me of what might have happened if Pinky Tuscadero had laid the wood to poor little Joanie Cunningham. After that the action gets a little spotty and never returns to the heat of the opening scene. I liked the editing and the music, but the camerawork is really poor. There are times when it seems that the damn thing will never stop moving and the might not get back to what we’re really here to see. Interestingly enough, this project reminds me of the MTV, style based vignette porn that Brad Armstrong used to shoot a lot. The biggest differences being the better music in this one and that fact that Brad actually knows what his audience wants to see. It is porn after all and if there is hot sex going on, find a good angle and stick to it for a few seconds. In the end this is an uneven effort with a few shining moments, a cool concept and just enough heat to keep me from hating it.
