The easiest thing in the world would be to compare this movie to Cross’ huge hit from last year, Corruption. They have asked us not to do that and it’s probably a fair thing to avoid comparisons. We’re going to judge Upload on it own merits and see just how things work out. Anyone picking up this movie should know a few things. First of all, this is an epic in every sense of the word. The uncut version of Upload runs nearly five hours long and includes more dialog and special effects footage than any three titles you’re likely to find on the shelf at your local smut shack. It is as expensive as it is long. For the most part, Upload looks like a mainstream movie. The special effects are good, very good for an adult project, but it is the rest of the movie that really shines. It is beautifully shot, tightly edited and the story is driven as much by the shooting style as by the fine performances from the lead characters. As a movie, Upload works. We will cover the sexual specifics at length during the course of the review so allow me to give you a brief overview now. The two female leads in this project are Hillary Scott and Eva Angelina. Anyone who has watched porn in the last few years knows that Hillary is a woman virtually without peer. She is beautiful, built for fun and has a way of making every scene look like the best experience of her life. Eva is also quite well known by stroke flick connoisseurs for her fresh co-ed looks and stunning sexual performances. These women anchor the action, but are joined by an excellent sexual supporting cast that includes Kylie Ireland, Sandra Romain and Trina Michaels. Be warned though, this is not your run of the mill feature sex. Cross has once again chosen to push the envelope sexually. There are fisting scenes here. There is some pissing and there is a LOT of rough sex. Not just your average gonzo rough sex either. There is some serious shit going on her, both physically and mentally. There you go, you have been warned.

Eva Angelina, Evan Stone & Sandra Romain

As part of her deal with an informant Agent Cray end up on the receiving end of some rather rough sex. Though Anderson (Evan Stone) is dishing out the dick, it is his whore friend Blair (Sandra Romain) who really drives the action here. The sex is frantic, hot and intense. If listening to Sandra carry things verbally bothers you then you had better hit the mute button. In her thick accent the monopolize the aural experience while Eva spends most of her time getting plugged with hard cock. The camerawork and editing is often every bit as frantic as the fucking. That add to the overall feel of the scene, but often makes it less traditionally strokeable than it might be. Anderson and Blair DP our techno-agent and then make her eat a bit load of cream. The gritty look of the scene fits the movie perfectly, but again may not suit your stroking needs. Hillary makes any scene strokeable though and take on all five guy will all of her hole in ways that would break a lesser slut. The DP footage is very hot, but for my money, I’ll take Ms. Scott in RCA with her great body on display as her colon stuffed with dick. There is a great deal of intensity here and the sexual heat shines through. The guys shoot their loads in and on her ass. Hillary squeezes is all out into a bowl for us. It is apparently hot enough to push Agent Cray further into the darkest recesses of her sexuality.

Julie Night, Adrianna Nicole & Alex Sanders

OK kiddies, here comes the hard stuff. The scene is a flashback that features a captured agent (Julie Night) bound and tortured by Nicole and Sanders. There is nothing light about a scene that opens with a cut wrenching scream and goes on from there. We have all seen Julie take some pretty extreme punishment so she is perfectly cast for this. It features hard bondage, hard sex and a lot of screaming. Don’t expect anything light here. They are supposed to be torturing the agent before killing her and I would say that the action fits that storyline pretty well. It just isn’t the way I would choose to spend my porn viewing time.

Hillary Scott, Flick Shagwell & Michelle Aston

When you mess with homeland security, they have ways of getting what they want. Believing that Telsa has a chip hidden somewhere, Agent Cray turns her over to a couple of agents who delight in giving their subject the most thorough body cavity search you can imagine. They bend her over and go searching with gloved hands. Flick eventually works her whole fist into Hillary‘s pussy, but that is just the beginning. There is also anal fisting here. This whole scene really boils down to a nicely shot fetish scene. If you aren’t into watching a woman get slowly fisted, then move on to the next scene.

Eva Angelina (Solo)

On second thought this one is pretty fetish driven as well. Turned on by the interrogation Agent Cray rushes the bathroom and fucks herself furiously with her fingers. Eventually she just pisses all over her panties and hands. I guess this is just the perfect set up for the next scene.

Adrianna Nicole, Lorelei & Madison Young

Later that night Agent Cray is home alone trying to drown her sorrows in alcohol. She has a pretty serious meltdown. Cross seems to enjoy having his female characters totally lose it. Eventually Cray plugs into her favorite sex sim and watches an intense outdoor lesbian three way. This looks like a drug induced haze which is good because it’s supposed to. On the other hand, the harsh lighting made me feel hung over. Sexually, it’s a lesbian three-way starring a trio of women who do little or nothing for me personally in the best of situations. Your mileage may vary of course there is the whole fisting and pissing thing. (See what I mean about the last two scenes coming together?) Since neither of these sexual fetishes do any more for me than the three women involved, it is safe to say that the whole thing is lost on me. Pissing in girls’ mouths, fisting and tons of anal play for those who like it.

Trina Michaels & Derrick Pierce

Taking a break from the sim sex, we see Cray’s partner, Agent Born (Derrick Pierce) enjoying some private time with his fiancé. (Trina Michaels) It is your basic fuck scene with soft lighting and good hard action. Trina generally does not disappoint and she certainly shows up in force for this scene. After opening with a solid fuck, she turns her oral attentions to his cock, taking it all the way to the root as he fucks the back of her throat. They move to anal where she really has a chance to shine. I definitely would have enjoyed the scene more without the soft orange glow. I know why they shot it this way, but it just sort of hides the completely strokeable energy that Trina and Derrick have going on. He pulls out and shoots all over her pussy. This will seem odd, but the two actually seem to like each other and correct me if I’m wrong, appear to be experiencing joy.

Kylie Ireland, Derrick Pierce & Delilah Strong

This scene is dripping with visual style. Shot entirely in black and white, Born hooks up for some sex in the middle of a film noir moment. Kylie plays her part perfectly and handles the sexual action nicely. Delilah come in and ramps up the heat quite a bit. I am always torn when confronted by a well shot B&W scene. On the one hand it is beautiful, gives a real charm to a scene and I love that. On the other hand I always feel like it mutes the sexual heat. Normally that isn’t a problem because the scenes that usually get shot in black and white tend to be a bit tame sexually anyway. Since that isn’t the case here, I’m a bit conflicted. This is either one of hottest, nastiest black and white sex scenes ever shot or it’s a horrible waste of wonderfully strokeable smut from Ms. Ireland. Perhaps it’s a little of both. As an added bonus for some of you, there is fisting and cum swapping for you to enjoy.

Hillary Scott & James Deen

I don’t know how much I should give away about this scene. It really spells out some important plot points. Let’s just focus on the sex instead. It is a high energy fuck between Hillary and James. We all know what she can do and James makes sure to ram his big cock right down her throat. He starts ramming her pussy and grabs her by the neck, choking her as he goes. The lighting is very good here, with enough shadows to fit the mood, but not so much that we loose the heat. There is really well shot anal of course and the lovely sight of Ms. Scott bobbing on a big bone will remind us all that while Upload is an impressive feature, it is still a hot fuck flick at its core.

In a movie that goes big at every turn, we would expect to see something like this. There is a little something for everyone thrown in here. Strap on sex, anal action, cages, corsets and of course more Eva Angelina. While this is an interesting, frantic group grope, it also kind of buries a couple of things that might be of interest. According to the production notes, Eva’s first ever on-screen DP is here. Call me a boring traditionalist, but I want to see this event without distraction or layers of style between my eyes and her hot bod. There is also some double anal for Julie. I guess they don’t take it easy on bad sluts in hell.

Two discs worth here folks. Disc three offers an in-depth look at how this movie was made. It’s a lot more than a BTS. If you have any interest at all in how movies get made, this is a great collection of features. Disc Four give us every possible kind of still photo gallery along with a bonus sex scene featuring the amazing Katja Kassin. Anyone who leaves Upload impressed will want to spend some time watching how they put this thing together.

Whew, that was a lot to take in. I already covered much of the action in the open. This is a rough sex feature with some true highlights and some scenes that may leave you as cold a they did me. Hillary and Eva are stand out stars who make their scenes work with a rare combination of beauty and sexual heat. All of the scene are well shot and most of them make a strong connection with at least segments of the audience. I’m tempted to call it uneven, but I think it was just that the sex came in so many different flavors. I wouldn’t say that there is something here for everyone sexually, but there is plenty of variety. If there is a weakness sexually it is that we sometimes go so far down a particular fetish alley, that there is nothing to fall back on. It is easy enough for the raincoaters to simply move forward to the end of the scene. If you sit and watch the whole thing though, the action can drag if you happen to be bored by long fisting scenes.The story is excellent. It has elements of the Matrix trilogy, Minority Report and even Johnny Mnemonic. I actually love the script. There is enough of a story to really keep us interested even when the sex doesn’t. Eva, Hillary, Derrick Pierce and Bryn Pryor (Cross as the chief investigator) all give award-caliber acting performances. Upload is an epic porn movie with a great story, innovative special effects and hard edged sex. It is a movie that should not be missed and is a strong contender for movie of the year.
