This is a classic adult movie. What makes something a classic? Well lots of things, but mostly because it was the final film made by John Holmes. Paradise Visuals has released some great classic movies of late. This one just got nominated for an AVN Award. It is a good transfer of a very important movie in adult film history, but it definitely has flaws. We’ll cover all of those over the next hour and a half. I will tell you this much. If you’re just looking for something good to jerk off to, skip forward to the John Holmes Meats Ginger Lynn featurette because that is the hottest stuff on the DVD.

You can tell this is a classic film from the start. Other than a one minute blowjob from some unknown girl on John’s psychologist, we get absolutely no sexual action for the first fifteen minutes of the movie. Instead we get a lot of story. It’s simple really. Holmes sells his soul for a big cock and a shot at his director’s wife.

He gets both of course. The big dick and magical powers help him score with the director’s blonde wife. I would assume this is Karin Shubert, but she is neither exceptionally beautiful nor sexually interesting during her scene. With a much cuter maid watching the scene, we cut away from the lackluster sex to Amber and Tracey drinking with John’s buddies. Perhaps that will be better, because when John dumps his load on Karin’s mouth, it ends a completely forgettable fuck.

Tracey and Amber have had enough to drink to make random lesbian sex seem like the only logical thing to do. They lock up for some 69 while the guys watch. As guys will do, they decide to jump into the mix and have some fun. Tracey and Amber are two of the most beautiful women from the golden age of porn so things are much better this time around. They go for some side by side fucking that allows Amber to get a mouthful of Tracey’s big natural titties. The girls work loads out with pretty good enthusiasm. Perhaps we will get to watch these girls work with Holmes later.

After a long and somewhat pointless strip scene in a deserted disco, Amber and Tracey team up with two random girls to take on John’s huge tool. There is great potential here, but after watching the girls dance forever, the actual sex scene is over before you can wonder how Holmes had enough blood in his body to get that thing hard. You want the downside to Golden Age porn. There it is.

John ends up meeting another big shot’s wife. They talk about cheating on her husband, but the dub job on the original film is so bad that it’s hard to watch. You can’t blame the DVD transfer for this one. It was bad the first time around. This is another mostly forgettable scene with a woman who really doesn’t bring much to the table in terms of eye candy or sexual energy. At least there is a big facial at the end to kind of save this scene a bit.

This woman comes back in a scene with one of John’s friends. It is every bit as flat as the last one with minimal eye candy and not nearly enough heat to make it worth more than a passing glance. In the middle of the action, another guy shows up and they start to DP her. Way back in the day a DP scene was very rare and that probably helped to make this movie more of a classic. The guys shoot all over her face and that was also a bit of a rarity for the time.

As you might expect, the movie ends with a big orgy. Pretty much everyone we have seen to this point comes together in one room for a final fuck. At least we get to see Amber suck some cock again. That’s a good thing. She and Tracey seem really at home passing a dick back and forth. They actually kiss each other while taking facials at the end.

If you want good sex, you might want to wait around for the “John Holmes Meats Ginger Lynn” featurette. It features Ginger in some of her classic scenes. Included is a scene from “Those Young Girls” that features these legendary performers hooking up on John’s desk. There is also an interview with Laurie Holmes that is very interesting to anyone with any curiosity about John Holmes, the history of porn or any of that good stuff.

Yes this is a classic movie, but more for its importance than its heat. It isn’t an especially well done movie on any level. The script is choppy, the dubbing is bad and the acting is really flat. Sexually it has all of the problems of any 80’s porn. The sex scenes are short, not all that hot and not especially well shot by today’s gonzo standards. Holmes seems stiff and not in a good way. He’s clearly not the legendary performer that he once was, but he still hauls out the big meat to give to the ladies. Amber and Tracey are the only two women really worth watching and they are pretty fun. Both women are beautiful and the facials at the end were pretty rare for them back in the day. This is probably a movie that every collector should own. If not for the sex then for the historical significance. (And then use the Ginger Lynn scene for stroke value.)
