So I finally get to break in my new Blu-Ray player. I’ve got three movies here and this girl/girl title from Anabolic is the only one I haven’t reviewed on standard DVD. So it ends up being the movie that breaks my Blu-Ray cherry. Normally I wouldn’t put an all-girl movie at the top of my list, but this should be fun. It is Anabolic‘s first Blu-Ray effort, and it is also a small-group lesbian effort. There are three scenes, each starring five women. There are some big names in the cast and some serious girl lovers. Women like Eva Angelina, Veronique Vegas, Gianna Lynn, Penny Flame, Sativa Rose and Ashley Jensen look good in anything and when they get all wound up, the action is usually fantastic. Taking advantage of the superior picture quality, directors Ricky D and Ivan has added some great looking tease as a way to introduce each girl to the mix. Because of the new format, the eye candy is going to be ramped up. I just hope that the action is as hot as we have come to expect from Anabolic over the years.

If the tease intros are any indication of how good this disc is going to look then please be prepared to get sick and tired of me saying just how freaking crisp the picture is. Eva, Alexis and Veronique enter first, strip down and being to play with one another. What starts out as great eye candy progresses to some rather hot girl on girl sex. Sindee and Brooke are also brought into the mix though they seem to be playing together in another room. The two blondes work each other really well and seem to have a really good time. Joining the other girls, Sindee and Brooke get a taste of rubber cock thanks to Eva. Sindee can barely get her mouth around Eva’s cock, but it fits really well into her pussy. The other three are hooking up for some great strap-on sex as well, but eventually the scene becomes uneven. Eva and Sindee are so good that the other girls just become background dressing and a bit of a distraction. This is great looking sex, but it shows that sometimes larger groups aren’t better for the overall heat. Turning the table, Sindee dishes out the fake dick really well. She and Eva have taken over this scene and they don’t even want to share the spotlight.

It events things out a bit and takes away from the inevitable imbalance that comes with such action. One more time. In this group of cuties, one girl really stands out. Ashley Jensen is fucking hot. I don’t know what happened to her, but she was not around nearly long enough. She also isn’t around for the first several minutes of this scene. The other girls aren’t bad, but without Ashley this is by far the weakest group. After nearly two hours of the exact same action, this scene just drags. Yes we get to see Aline fucked in the ass with a black strap on. Yes, Ashley is gorgeous. And yes, the picture quality is still stunning. There was just nothing in this final scene that really grabbed me. I suppose the Aline DP is the highlight here, though I’ll take Ashley licking pussy over just about anything else we’ve seen here.
This is a great looking disc. The tease footage could probably be played up more, but this is Anabolic. The focus on in the sex. Even in a girl/girl movie we have plenty of reasons to enjoy this nasty ride. Since this is my first Blu-Ray review I can’t compare it to other discs in the format. It looks great from start to finish and is discernibly sharper than the standard DVD release I looked at. All three scenes are shot well and the action is generally consistent. It isn’t easy to capture the action when you have five women going at it at once. I like the way the movie is shot and love he way it looks. For a girl/girl movie the sex is pretty good as well. Anabolic is in the Blu-Ray business and this first release is pretty damn solid.
