On the surface, this Vivid-alt project is a stripped down porno flick. It’s “just” content after all, not part of some grander movie. In many ways it is stripped down. No script, no fancy sets and no acting. One the other hand this movie is far from simple. The lighting is exquisite and it adds a lot to the action. This movie looks like part gonzo, part art porn and part eye candy. One of the things I usually love about alt-porn is the music. There isn’t much of that here. On the other hand, there is some serious sexual heat in a few of these scenes. Chief among them is the opener with Kimberly Kane. She and Mr. Pete hook up for a scene that could be pure gonzo gold. It doesn’t look like your standard raincoater porn, but it probably could be. I love the lighting and the way the scene is shot makes it more interesting than your run of the mill fuck and suck. Of course none of that would matter much if the action weren’t hot enough to keep things going. None of the other scenes quite live up to this first one, but they still offer better than average energy. McKai shoots this content through his own prism and the end result is a movie that is beautifully lit, well shot and ultimately one of the more strokeable projects he has done to date.

The opening credits are very interesting. Eon runs down your basic Vivid project info sheet with equal parts cynicism, narcissism and sarcasm.

Kimberly Kane & Mr. Pete

Apparently Kimberly hasn’t had sex in a few weeks and Eon’s notes indicate that things got “pretty nuts.” That should be good. Things start out nicely with jerking camerawork, big sunglasses and some kissing. It’s very interesting visually and the lack of music, off-putting at first, is actually kind of nice. Kimberly kisses her way down to his cock which is just poking out of his jeans. She stares right into the camera and sucks. There are some stunning shots here as the lighting and make up give the scene a unique, glamour photography gone grunge look. Eventually Kimberly‘s enthuasism just takes over and nice shots give way to serious sexual heat. The gritty pin up look is usually not accompanied by such good sex so I’m pretty impressed at this point. Anal sex brings out the best in Kimberly and she doesn’t hold back here. The raw sound really comes into play here as their bodies slap agasint one another and her moans echo hauntingly. The RCA is really interesting and very energetic. Would I prefer to watch her let loose in a pure gonzo fuck? Sure, but if you want some art in your porn this is very, very good. They finally finish with Kimberly jerking a big load onto her face. I like the way this scene is lit, love a number of the shots and enjoyed the overall feel. It’s a little long, but Kimberly‘s energy carries it well.

There is some discussion before the scene about a fan wanting to make sure there are good shots of Coocoo’s behind. To help oblidge that request she stretches out across his lap while they play. I like the energy in this one, but it just doesn’t quite rise to the level as the opening scene. It’s gritty and raw with a pretty girl at the center of the fun, but Kimberly‘s scene was definitely special in a way that makes it tough for others to compete. She finishes up by furiously stroking his dick until we would think he is going to explode in her mouth. That doesn’t happen and instead we get some of the most intense fucking of the scene. A few moments later he shoots all over her chest. I liked this scene mostly because I like Coco.

Madison Young & Dane Cross

This scene starts out feeling cramped and crowded and never really changes. Like the others is it very well lit and looks like an artistic little look at a simple fuck scen. There barely seems to be enough room to get a camera in there to capture the action as Madison drops to her knees and starts sucking. They mix in some ass licking, cock slapping and general play that feels disjointed in kind of a good way.
