This movie is being billed as the big release of the fall. Adam & Eve is shooting much of its PR wad promoting this post-apocalyptic sexual thriller. It stars Kayden Kross and about a dozen others including Amber Rayne in what has to be the most expansive role of her career. This massive four disc set is pretty impressive I must say. It is packed with extras ranging from extensive BTS coverage to extended sex scenes. The movie itself is quite different for an Adam & Eve feature. Normally the sex scenes are cut shot and look like feature sex. The action in The 8th Day is different. We get longer sex scenes that are beautifully lit and fit wit the story yet have some gonzo-ish intensity. Kayden is the most surprising of all in this regard. She’s definitely the star of the movie and quite a piece of eye candy. What you might not expect is the heat she brings to her scenes. She opens the movie with a very hot scene that sets the bar very high. Some of the other scenes are a bit moodier with feature lighting and some interesting twists. The three girl scene featuring Bree Olson and Tori Black is just odd enough to be a little less hot than it could have been.
