For his latest high end comedy, Will Ryder has ditched the parody formula and gone with something original. Flight Attendants is a well thought out rivalry comedy pitting a struggling airline against the top dog. After a tragic crash, they have to come up with something to regain their reputation. They choose an unemployed mother of five (Misty Stone) and the lone survivor of the crash (Kayden Kross) as the new face of the company. (Laughing yet?) This leads to a show down that is part Airplane and part 80’s camp movie. There is a lot of plot here including twenty plus minutes at the start of the movie before the first scene. (What, no Hillary Scott masturbating?) From there we get a series of flight attendant sex scenes. Some take place on the plane, others on the ground and they all look really good. The list of strokeable scenes in this one is quite long. That’s what happens when you put together such a great cast. Hillary Scott, Sunny Lane, Teagan, Eva Angelina, Kayden Kross, Misty Stone, the list just goes on and on. Picking a best scene would be tough. Teagan and Lexi Love do a really good lesbian scene. Sunny Lane gets a hot three-way and an equally smoking POV BJ to thrill us. Misty Stone is underused in the movie, but again there is only so much that they can show in one flick. None of the scenes disappoint and there are enough laughs to make this fun to watch. There are times when it feels like a B movie and other times when it feels like a uniform-driven fantasy fuck flick. It’s definitely a winner and a top contender for Best Non-Parody Sex Comedy for 2009. (That’s got to be a category right?) It is also wide open for a sequel so let’s all put our requests in now.
