This is one of the parodies I missed the first time around. Thanks the AVN nominee’s box I brought home I get to see what a porn version of the Jeffersons looks like. I have to admit that it had never really crossed my mind. After seeing it, I can understand why. It’s not that they couldn’t have made a good movie I suppose, but they didn’t. This movie has some good qualities. I love Marie Luv, Jada Fire and Jessica Bangkok. There is an attempt at funny dialog and Ace does a decent job of playing the lead. The sex isn’t bad, even when it has nothing to do with any parody fantasy appeal. That’s primarily because Marie, Jada and Jessica are just so hot any time they fuck. Beyond that this movie is just a mess. From the theme song (One of the worst parody theme songs from this wave of porn parodies) to the lazy technical aspects there is just nothing good here. The script is stupid and not in a good, clever “we think the original show was stupid” way. The final sex scene is a throw away and any fun with George, Florence and Wheezy are in earlier scenes. Technically the movie falls flat. The lighting is bad and so is the sound. Why would you shoot scenes this way? Are they trying to hurt our eyes? It’s just lazy and inexcusable. I’m all for good parodies and I am definitely all for Marie Luv getting more play, but to borrow a line, if this is moving on up, then I’m moving out.
