Belladonna and Savanna Samson team up in this new taken on The Devil in Miss Jones. In this latest re-telling of a Golden Age classic, Paul Thomas puts together a fantastic cast and gives them great material to work with. The script is original and interesting. It’s not just a remake of the classic. In this version Belladonna plays Miss Jones, an aspiring reporter with a knack for getting the story, a fantastic ass and questionable journalistic ethics. She writes the piece of her life and is drawn into a mysterious and dangerous world. As she attempts to climb the ladder of success, her relationship with her boyfriend (Kurt Lockwood) is strained and her grip on reality is challenged. The plot is weird to be sure, but rarely gets in its own way. It is well acted thanks to a great performance from Bella as well as fine supporting efforts from Savanna, Evan Stone and Tom Byron. As a feature fan I found myself interested in this movie from start to finish. That is not something I can say often these days. I loved it on that level. Sexually, the movie has more than a few bright spots as well. Though a little disjointed at times, it features some action that definitely falls into an edgier category than you would normally expect from Vivid. The opening scene from Belladonna and Kurt Lockwood is hot, dirty and very strokeable. It pushes things a bit and sets the bar high. Bella comes back later for a girl/girl scene with Penny that is really good as well. There are some moments when the sex seems to take a backseat, but if you coast through those, Bella makes it worthwhile. This is a really good feature with some impressive performance and enough good stuff to make it worth watching from start to finish.
