The basic egg/bullet vibe design gets a cool make over, a power boost and tail in this model. I am a big fan of the basic egg vibes. They are tiny, pack a serious punch and can be used alone, one the go or in conjunction with my favorite playmate. Most of them are also waterproof that is always a plus for me. (This one is waterproof so long as the rubber O ring at the battery compartment is in place.)

The 7x Purple Flutter has all of the things I love about the usual egg vibe with some slight modifications. It looks like someone took their favorite vibe to Doc Brown for an “I” inspired makeover. The wired controller is easy to grip and has a simple two button design. Turn it on and click until you find the right power for you. LED lights indicate the speed with cool little half lit status for odd numbers. The seven speeds Seven speeds seems a bit like overkill until you actually try them. I’m pretty happy with two most of the time, but it’s pretty easy to get spoiled by this thing. It’s like trying to go back to basic cable once you have spent a long weekend surfing eight thousand channels. The seven seeds allow for excellent fine tuning for just the right power at the precise moment. If there is a weakness here it is that the clicker only works one way. So if you need to slow it down a notch you have to go all the way around to get where you need to be. On the positive side, the on/off button is separate so you won’t h ave to lose it completely.

The other noticeable difference in this model is the small tail at the business end of the egg. (This thing looks a bit like something Barney might leave in his shower. (Is that subliminal? Making our sex toys look like sperm?) the tail is very soft and offers only slight clitoral stimulation even on the higher settings. I didn’t really see the point at first, but in an effort to be incredibly thorough I kept trying and found one very angle. With the egg pressed firmly at my opening and the setting on a 5 or higher, the little tail did just enough wiggling to tease my clit rather well. I’m still not sold on this feature, but I can see where it could a fun little addition.

I love the basic design here and the seven speed controller is a nice upgrade. It is now possible to find the exact groove that works for you and ride it all the way home.
