All right, this is something I have been waiting a long time to see. The Breakfast Club is my favorite movie of all time. Yeah, I said it. My favorite movie of all time, laugh all you want. (For the record, Citizen Kane is the best movie ever made, this one is just my fave.) It isn’t something that I would think of right away when I think of a parody, but as it turns out it worked out pretty well. The cast is pretty funny and the dialog works. It’s a bit of a parody on all movies of the era, poking fun at teen angst flicks in general. There are some classic BC moments of course. The lunch scene is hilarious and the round table dialog will make you want to find your DVD copy of the original. We even get the tense stand off between the burn out and the principal. Moving the story to college makes for some obvious jokes that are pretty funny. Sexually the movie is decent. Faye Reagan provides a fantastic scene at the end and I wish we could see more. Andy San Dimas as the loner girl gives the best fuck. Great in character action here. The other scenes are solid. Samantha Ryan plays the hard ass dean who ends up fucking her most troubled student. As a fan of the movie I liked the way they stayed close enough to be appealing while taking liberties to make a better porn flick. More Faye and Andy would have been nice, but as it stands, this is a parody that has earned a spot on my shelf. What’s next I wonder “Pretty in Pink” “Eighteen Candles” “Weird Science”? The mind boggles with 80’s possibilities.
