Will Ryder and X-Play have perfected the porn parody thing. This may be their most ambitious effort yet. M*A*S*H* is one of those iconic shows that everyone has seen. Even if you weren’t a fan (I wasn’t) it was on for so long that the characters are ingrained in our pop culture. The authenticity of the sets and costumes are fantastic. Ryder has spared no detail from the music to the script to make this a really entertaining adult parody. The thing is, I just don’t know how much built in fantasy appeal there is to M*A*S*H*. So as a sexual piece, this movie needs some work. It’s good at times really good. I like the way Ryder continues to integrate gonzo camera shots (Primarily POV) into feature sex scenes. Krissy Lynn is very good as Hot Lips. Miko Sinz is great as the Col’s private assistant and the rest of the girls are nurses who get naughty. The guys, specifically Eric Swiss, Chad Diamond and Jeremy Conway who is awesome as Radar, carry most of the dialog and they are fantastic. I loved this is an adult comedy and there were enough good moments sexually to make it worth owning.
