‘BRITNEY REARS’ JOINS LFP FAMILY
VCA SIGNS DISTRIBUTION DEAL W/ X-PLAY FOR MARCH RELEASE
HOLLYWOOD, CA ” Britney Rears is coming to a city near you!
X-Play, the production company owned by Jeff Mullen and Scott David has entered into a distribution deal with LFP’s VCA label for the debut of ‘Britney Rears’.
‘Britney Rears: Wild Back Stage Sex Party’ is set for a March 8th release and hopes are sky high following a successful introduction of Britney to fans and media at the VCA booth at the recent AEE in Las Vegas.
“It was apparent right from the start that this was a winning project as fans lined up to meet Britney where she had fun posing for photos and meeting members of the media”, stated Jeff Mullen who also is president of media & marketing services company All Media Play.
“Howard Stern was talking about her this past week on his radio show which is a good thing”, Mullen remarked.
The lifestyle movie features Britney with her sexy girlfriends doing what superstars do naturally. Limos, private Gulfstream jets, beautiful mansions, tour busses, concert footage and six hot, youthful hardcore sex scenes are packed into an appealing package that has all of the indications of becoming a hugely successful title.
The project first came to LFP’s attention when director of licensing Chris Camacho heard the Britney Rears original music theme song.
“Jeff Mullen is a rising businessman who has a really amazing background in pop music, and the musical theme was really catchy and made us take a closer look at the project”, remarked Camacho. “One of the reasons for us doing the deal with X-Play is because of the intangibles they bring to the table with the way they hustle and make things happen,” “The fact that Britney is young, cute and having great sex sealed the deal,” continued Camacho.
Britney Rears will be embarking on a national in-store tour that will bring her directly to the fans starting in March.
The tongue in cheek novelty style theme song is only one part of the marketing plan for Britney Rears, but it will be an interesting component of the overall campaign led by X-Play, VCA and All Media Play.
PG versions of the Britney music theme will be distributed to radio stations and peer to peer music swapping services to increase awareness in this project.
“We’re having fun with ‘Britney’ and our potential audience is worldwide. We will market full force including some big VCA advertising including the full page ad in the February issue of AVN”, Mullen remarks.
Peter Reynolds, vp of sales and marketing for VCA Pictures commented, “I really love this project. Britney is a knockout and this is the total package. We’re going to have some fun with this one”.
