SHOOTIN’ PORN AIN’T EASY: BUT JOE “JOSÉ” PUSHER MAKES IT LOOK THAT WAY

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Escort-agency-owner-turned-porn-director Joe “José” Pusher is set to release his first title through Black Widow Releasing, José Pusher’s Pimping Adventures Vol. 1: Blowjob Auditions, this week.

The title features a female cast never seen on video. Pusher’s series focuses on women who are looking to enter the adult industry and, he added, many of them only appear in his videos once and aren’t seen again.

“I’m looking to capture something spontaneous,” Pusher said. “Most of these girls think they’re applying for a job as an escort. When we’re talking, I also bring up the possibility of video work. Some of them take it, some of them don’t. But these scenes are real because the action’s with fairly inexperienced girls.”

Lisa Radamaker, sales manager for Black Widow, said Pusher’s approach to shooting and his set-ups are reminiscent of early gonzo videos from the ’90s.

Radamaker added, “It has definite appeal for people who are fans of amateurs and new girls. The girls are fresh, they’re enthusiastic and they haven’t been in any videos prior to these, so the customers haven’t gotten tired of seeing them. Pusher’s style of shooting is very gonzo-inspired and gives the viewer his definite point-of-view of the action.”

Though the first volume of the series is all-oral, other titles in the series will feature boy/girl scenes. Pusher’s next volume, José Pusher’s Pimping Adventures Vol, 2: If You Want This Job You Have to Fuck Me, will be released on Feb. 28.
