“REVENGE OF THE UNSIGNED ARTIST”

Los Angeles, CA- They say “third time’s the charm” and all good things come in threes. If that’s the case, that means the Kick Ass Art Show #3 is going to be one for the record books. If you missed the last two Kick Ass Art Shows now’s your chance to experience the art event of the Spring. Over 600 people attended the last show in February. By the end of the evening over 25 different pieces of art sold for nearly $5000, making the show an unprecedented success. Show #3 is aiming to raise the bar a lot higher.

Kick Ass Pictures, a prominent Los Angeles-based porn producer presents the Kick Ass Art Show #3 on Friday evening, April 22nd, 2005 from 9pm until at least 2am. Attendees will experience high art in a low art setting. The varying styles of art will be displayed in a working porn warehouse, filled with tens of thousands of adult DVDs. Lingerie clad Porn Stars will be serving drinks from a full bar as well as putting on a “special performance” at MIDNIGHT. DJ Flowers will spin the night into day. A $5 donation is requested at the door.

Show #3 features the works of four unrepresented, up-and-coming young artists: Kasia Gabrianczyk, Michael Hayden, Marleigh Atherton and Puss. Kick Ass will NOT be taking any commissions from purchases – the artists keep 100% of every sale. It’s low art supporting high art.
