BLACK WIDOW MEDIA TO DISTRIBUTE STRAND FILMS

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. ? Strand Films, based in England, which features the movies of award-winning director Remington Steele, signed a deal for exclusive North American distribution with Black Widow Media.

Black Widow Media will release two of Strand’s movies a month, including Steele’s critically acclaimed wall-to-wallers Hot Cut and Dr. Blue’s Slut Hunt.

Steele said, “Over the years we have had many offers to distribute in America, but wanted to wait until we found the right company to do our products justice. We hope the American people will enjoy our quality offerings from Europe.”

Lisa Radamaker, Black Widow Media’s vice president of sales, said Strand Films would find a ready market in North America.

“We are delighted that Strand Films chose us over all the competition,” she added. “It will be a great opportunity to add to our best-selling European lines such as British Lesbians Pissing, UK Student House and the German Goo Girls, as well as our excellent series produced in Los Angeles, Jos?usher’s Pimping Adventures. We’re very happy with the progress Black Widow has made in distribution, with our foreign- and domestically-produced titles and Dansex Production’s novelty lines, each of which we feel represents some of the most unique products in adult today.”

Strand’s first two titles will be released through Black Widow on June 27.
