VIDEO-X-PIX RELEASES THREE STAR-STUDDED CLASSIC TITLES ON DVD

NEW YORK Classic feature distributor Video-X-Pix announced the release of three Golden Age titles, for the first time on DVD and available in stores now.

The titles, available in stores now, include 1984’s A Taste of Pink, starring a who’s who of AVN Hall of Famers, including Amber Lynn, Vivid director Paul Thomas and Evil Angel director Joey Silvera in some of their first adult scenes, as well as Gina Carrera, Barbie Dahl, Karen Summer, Scarlet Scarleu, Joseph Black and Michael Knight. The line-up also includes Time to Love, shot in 1973, featuring Tina Russel, Howard Blakely and AVN Hall of Fame alumnus Harry Reems, and The Young Starlets, with Barbara Cole, Cynthia Crites, Susan Deasy, Mary McMurphy, Maggie Pearson and Carolyn Sand in a faux-documentary detailing the sexual reasons behind their vocation of choice.

Video-X-Pix co-owner Steven Morowitz said, “Video-X-Pix is proud to present these shot-on-film titles that feature some of the most recognizable names in adult entertainment. They’re timeless names that even consumers who don’t watch much porn will know.”

Video-X-Pix has gotten a strong response from retailers, Morowitz added, who have flooded the company with orders for its titles.

“We’ve invested time and money to ensure that each of the Golden Age titles we release on DVD are remastered as best as they can,” he said. “There’s a definite market that’s looking for Golden Age titles starring the titans of that era. We’re looking forward to bringing the titles to older customers who’ve seen them in theaters and to the newer consumers who haven’t had the chance to experience them.”
