Black Widow Lands 4 Noms For Its First AVN Award Show

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. Adult video distributor Black Widow Productions racked up four nominations, the company’s first, for the 2006 AVN Awards show.

The nominations are Sins of the Flesh, for Best Foreign Feature, Jose Pusher’s Pimping Adventures for Best Amateur Release, Fetish Desire 2 for Best Specialty Release ? BDSM and Cissie’s Cum Show from German Goo Girls (GGG) for Best Specialty Release ? Other Genre.

“The four nominations Black Widow’s received covers most of the categories we distribute,” Lisa, head of sales for the 1-year-old company, said. “We have everything from our amateur line to our big-budget European feature to our more fetish-oriented titles on the list and we’re pleased with our representation in the upcoming AVN Awards.”

Black Widow plans on adding more titles to its roster with additional high-quality European and American productions.

“We’re looking forward to distributing more hardcore European titles from the producers we’ve been working with, as well as adding a few new lines,” Lisa said. “We’ll also make a big push on the part of our million dollar-plus animated feature, The Princess Has Come of Age and our American-produced projects, including Team Tyler’s titles.”
