We are here at CES, sitting with Melanie Stone as she signs autographs for a long line of fans. Melanie, thank you so much for squeezing us in and talking to your fans on the Internet.

Absolutely, I love talking to fans everywhere.

Let’s get right to it. Where were you born?

I was born in Detroit, but I grew up in Texas.

Do you still live in Texas?

No, I live in the Valley now.

When did you move out to LA?

Last February, so not quite a year ago.

Was that to do movies?

Yes. I had danced for four years in Dallas and I did a couple movies here and there. Then a year ago, I sold everything and moved to LA.

Do you prefer LA to Texas?

I like LA because you’re so close to so many things. There is so much to do. I mean, which way to you want to go? You’ve got skiing, San Francisco, San Diego, the desert, Mexico, the ocean.

When is your birthday?

September 15th, 1973.

That’s the same day as my wife’s birthday?

No kidding, is that her over there?

Yes.

Blow her a kiss with me.

She’ll love that.

Get her over here, we’ll shoot a scene together.

Do the folks back home know what you’re doing?

All of my friends know. My parents may know, but we have never talked about it. I don’t want them to think that it’s awful.

What do the people who know think?

All my brothers and sisters know. My sister is actually here. She is completely out of control.

So your brothers and sisters are supportive?

Yeah, a lot more than I would have thought. They don’t necessarily think it’s a good thing, but they are supportive.

When did you do your first movie?

I was dancing in Dallas. You know how they have those little newspapers telling you what’s going on? We saw that Shane was going to be in town so we went to see her. Two days later I shot a film with her.

Which one was that?

Seymore and Shane, Live on Tour.

Oh my God, that was you. I love that movie. I didn’t even put two and two together. I am such a moron.

We were watching her films at the time, and really didn’t watch anyone else’s, so it was very cool.

Who did you work with in that first movie?

My first scene was a girl/girl with Shane then we both went and blew Seymore.

And how was it?

It was a blast. It was like the camera wasn’t even there. That is how comfortable they made me feel. Shane is great, I love her.

When you were done with that first scene, did you know right away you wanted to do more?

No, not at all. It was a year later that Shane called me up to do Shane’s World 6. Then three months later, Seymore called me to do one of his. It was like a three year period where I dabbled, then last February, I went full on.

About how many have you done so far?

I have done fifty five so far.

Are there are any that are you really proud of that the readers should rush right out and pick up?

Tales of Perversity 6 from Elegant Angel was a really hot scene with Alec Metro. Finally Legal from Metro with Vince Voyeur and Mark Davis. It was the first time I had ever been with two guys. That scene was really good. Shane’s World 13 was really wild. Titman’s Pool Party 1 and 2 for Metro was fun.

Any favorite males to work with?

Mark Davis and Vince Voyeur.

What makes them your favorites?

They are just really cool guys. They have fun with it, so it makes for a good scene. I want all my scenes to be good, which is why I am picky as to who I work with.

How about females?

I will tell you a couple I really want to work with but haven’t yet. Tabitha Stevens, I am just dying to get at her. Coral Sands, who I would love to hook up with. As for ones I really like working with, Azlea and Wendi Knight who is also a very good friend of mine. We are like best friends.

How tall are you?

Five Four.

Do you watch your scenes?

I watch them with my husband, but I get shy with a group of people.

What are you watching for?

Just to see how it turned out. Sometimes you can think a scene is really good, but it doesn’t get put together as well as you think it should be.

What are you impressions of the business?

That’s a hard question. I generally try to keep myself out of the whole in circle of the business. I don’t have any bad views of the business. Right now, I am having fun with it. The day I stop having fun with it, is the day I quit.

Do you have any favorite thing to do on camera?

I have to say doggy style. It looks good, it feels good, it just is good.

How does your on screen persona reflect or differ from your off screen personality?

I really try to portray things the way I am in person. I am just me, and that’s what they get on camera.

So the guys watching at home, if they were lucky enough to have you in bed, would get just what they see on camera?

Yes. I just love sex.

Any Tattoos or body piercing?

I have a belly button piercing. I have a lip piercing, but I’ll get in big trouble if I show you were that one is and I have a small tattoo on my ankle.

Any plans for more?

No, that’s it. I’m done.

What are your career goals within the adult industry?

I am getting ready to go on the road. Probably in March. Hunter and I are going to start our own series. We haven’t decided if it is going to be a girl/girl series or boy/girl. But if it’s girl/girl, it’s going to be real hard core, all anal. If it’s boy/girl, it will also be hard core, and lots of fun.

You’ve done feature films and gonzo type videos. Do you have a preference for one over the other?

I like both. You get something different and don’t get burned out by having the variety. You know, the features are good for when you go out on the road, and they are just fun to do. The gonzo is good because you’re in and out, so they both have their good and bad points.

Do you enjoy acting and doing dialog?

Yeah, I have a blast with it. I like doing both.

What are your outside interests?

I love dancing, I am going to get into snowboarding and skiing. I love horses and horseback riding which I don’t get to do very often. And definitely all water sports, the beach, traveling, I like it all.

Do you have a boyfriend or husband?

Yes, I have a husband, and he is wonderful. We are the best of friends. He’s very outgoing, very cool.

He’s totally fine with you being in the business?

Yes, he produces and we are going to start our own series together.

Do you have any unfulfilled fantasies you would like to act out on camera?

I have, oh God, so many.

Any that involve Internet film critics?

Yeah, when are we doing it?

There is a little booth back there.

Maybe in a bit. I do have one, where I am on a building and it’s raining where the sex is all slippery and wet and dripping. All sweaty, you know, where it’s hot outside, but raining.

Sounds good. Do you have any set dates for signings or appearances.

I have a whole bus tour starting in January. Nothing set yet, but all the dates will be up on the web site.

We’re doing this interview while you are signing for a whole line of fans, do you like this sort of things where you get to meet the fans?

Oh, I love it. This is the best part.

Do you generally get a positive response from them? Do you find that they are polite and well behaved?

Yes. There are always a few who get out of control, but you deal with it. The overwhelming majority of them are so cool, it’s all worth it.

Is there anything you would like to add, anything we missed, or that you would like to say to the fans?

Just to let them know that I am not fake. I’m a really cool, outgoing person and I really get into the sex. I really have a good time with it. I really enjoy what I do. And they have to check out my web site. I worked hard on it, I have a lot of fun with it, so they have to check it out.
