Fantasy Football: Week 2 Recap
Week two is in the books. We added a new league that drafted after the season started so we’ll see how that one turns out. Got some new players in that one including Jeff from IAFD.com and Red, the hottest fantasy football player you will ever see. (And she’s good too.) Since no one in any of the leagues has stepped up to write a recap, it’s on me again. Enjoy.
League 1: AKA 2008 RogReviews.com League. Week two saw Mark’s “A Holes” emerge as the highest scoring squad. He put u 177 thanks once again to Tom Brady who threw down 33 to help Mark take out Dan’s Bloodbath. Astro took out Bono in the closest match up of the week. The AdultDVDTalk.com showdown evened out both teams’ records at 1-1. This week’s top come features that “A Holes” taking on Rog’s “Asa Akira” squad. With only two teams in the league coming in at 2-0, this game will set the stage early on for top honors.
League 2: AKA RogReviews.com League 1 (Confusing names man.) It was another tough week for the team that took the title last year. “Lexi’s Bell Ringers” got crushed by PWing’s “Dream Crushers.” The Crushers put up a league high 143 points. Harris’ TDs & Beer team won the award for closest win of the week with a 13 point win over Cody Bangs’ club. With only two remaining unbeatens in the league someone will have to stop these teams before they get too far ahead.
League 3: AKA Rog Review Naughty & Nice Week two’s biggest blowout award goes to Boston Haze for pounding the Red. I guess that’s what happens when you’re the only team with a customized draft list. The rest of the league is going to have to work hard to keep up with this team. This week, Bono’s Jynx Maze team take a shot at early season favorite to win it all.
League 4: AKA RogReviews League 2 After drafting late Friday, the league didn’t have any time to pick up waiver wire players. So it was draft and play for this week. The Peanuts scored the league’s closest win with an 18 point victory over Bono’s squad. J Dub’s Suh-Nami’s were the league’s highest scoring team, riding the Lions’ trio o Stafford, Best and D to a 144 point opening game. We’ll see which team stays hot for this week.
