Fantasy Football: Week 3 Recap
Three weeks down and I still can’t get anyone in any of the leagues to try their hand at a weekly recap. Come on people, writing isn’t that hard. How could it be if I do it? All four of the leagues are doing well, including the new one. Now if we could just get a little smack talk to go along with the fun, things would be great.
League 1: AKA 2008 RogReviews.com League. Week three featured a battle between the only 2 unbeaten teams left in the league. The match up lived up to expectations with Rog’s Pure Perfection team putting 170 points on the board to take out Mark’s “A Holes.” Mark’s 147 point effort would have beaten any other team in the league. This week, Rog takes on Willie D. The parity in this league is fantastic. Only one team is unbeaten and every team has at least one win.
League 2: AKA RogReviews.com League 1 (Confusing names man.) In a much lower scoring week, only two teams cracked 100 points. One of them was Harris’ TDs & Beer that remained unbeaten with a 112 to 99 win over PWing. There is only one team with no wins, the WindyCityPornos and they take on TDs & Beer this week. If the ESPN projections are correct, the Haze vs. Crushers should be a good match up. Only three team separate the teams in the pre-game projections.
League 3: AKA Rog Review Naughty & Nice The smallest of the leagues features a battle of division leaders. The unbeaten Haze team faces off again with Redu who has lost only once, in week one to Haze. In a league this small, we are all going to be playing one another often. This is a great league by the way and I’m inviting more teams to join early so we can have 10-12 quality teams for next year.
League 4: AKA RogReviews League 2 Week two of the new league saw the ranks of the unbeaten whittled down to just two. Jeff’s “Good Girls” and Mama’s “Peanuts” managed to move to 2-0. There were three blowouts in the league last week. Peanuts took out Ivan by 51, Good Girls beat Jersey Jeff by 53, but the biggest ass kicking came from Bono who crushed Rog’s Snow Storm by 56 points. ays hot for this week.
