2011 NightMoves Awards a Success for Galaxy Stars
The 19th Annual NightMoves Awards took place last weekend in beautiful Tampa, FL, and a gaggle of Galaxy Publicity talent joined over 40 adult stars in five wild nights of appearances, partying and celebration. Capping off the event was the NightMoves Awards show itself, where several stars earned prestigious honors from the longest-running awards show in the adult industry.
Hosted by the legendary Ron Jeremy with Priya Rai and James Bartholet the awards show was punctuated with a variety of eye popping performances by Le Tease Burlesque, Franki Markstone, East Coast Hardbodies and other entertainers at the packed RoundUp nightclub.
“It was truly a memorable experience, we would like to thank Paul and Tracy Allen and the entire NightMoves family for their generous hospitality and for showing us such a great time†said Bartholet.
The prolific and multi-talented Tommy Gunn took home Best Male Performer (Editor’s Choice), while Indian starlet Priya Rai paused her hosting duties to accept Best MILF (Editor’s Choice).
For their eternal contributions to the adult industry, Rebecca Bardoux and director Erica McLean were then inducted into the Hall of Fame, and Bardoux presented with Miss Congeniality.
Finally, James Bartholet was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Even acclaimed director Axel Braun showed up with a shaved head to accept his award for Best Director (Fan’s Choice).
While the event was a success, the days prior to the awards show were perhaps the most memorable. With steamy stage appearances from the visiting talent, colorful commentary from NightMoves founders Paul and Tracy Allen, and tricky group shots which tested the structural limits of stage construction, this “Caravan of Stars†always stole the show and drove spectators wild.
For three nights this “Caravan†including Misty Stone, Sarah Vandella, Annie Cruz, Emy Reyes, Nikki Daniels, Jack Vegas, Romeo Price and many more packed on to party buses and into limousines to hit the area’s hottest adult clubs and meet their fans. Stops included the posh Bliss in Clearwater, FL, the famous Bare Assets in Pasco County and the premiere Tampa Gold Club.
Sunday afternoon the stars trekked out to the Blue Iguana for a pool party and James Bartholet’s Birthday where he was presented with a giant card and a cake in the form of a well-stacked woman. Even though not everyone went in the pool, the weather made sure everyone got wet before clearing up the next day for the awards show.
After the awards show and subsequent celebration, the stars packed up and headed home, with stories and souvenirs to last a lifetime.
Nineteen years in the running, the NightMoves Adult Awards is a red carpet event that features top adult entertainers, musical acts, and more than 50 award presentations.
The awards have been a bellwether for future success of new talent. Stars who received their first awards at NightMoves include: Jenna Jameson, Serenity, Tera Patrick and Gina Lynn (just to name a few.) Also, Digital Playground’s mega Blockbuster release “Pirates” received its first award from NightMoves and became the top grossing adult movie of all time. NightMoves also introduced the world to the beloved Sunny Lane.
