It has been a long time in the works, but one of the truly iconic names in XXX, Anabolic has completed an overhaul of its web site and given us Anabolic.com. SITE BREAKDOWN
Home: The design and navigation on Anabolic.com is clean, simple and makes it quite easy to find what you need. There is a tool bar at the top that is really the only navigation you need. It divides the site into Stars, DVDs, Classics and other areas to explore. There is also a search box that should help as they continue to add updates and tag scenes with various elements.
News and upcoming scenes take up the top half of the main page. Classics and HD updates are the two areas of promised improvement. With so many great scenes to choose from, we should watch as they fill the site with classics. The updates cover the next four additions and when I reviewed the site were a day or two ahead of release. (Looks like they are adding multiple scenes daily at this point.)
Further down the main page are the latest scenes added to Anabolic.com. There are thumbnails, add date, title of update and star name to give members a little preview of what they will see. The same format applies to the latest photosets added to the site. Near the bottom are updates sorted by “Best Scenes” and “Best Stars” as rated by other users. I always find these rankings interesting. The current Best Scene stars Jenna Simpson and her awesome rack. The highest rated starlets are Sasha Grey, Jayden Jaymes and Gianna Michaels.
There is also a drop down menu to allow members to move directly to a particular star or category of sex. (Anal, 2 on 1, small tits, etc.)
Scenes Individual scene update pages are really simple. They feature automatic streaming video of the scenes with basic controls. Cast list and tags are featured and are clickable so you can see other updates by your favorite girls or featuring the kind of sex you want. There are basic scene descriptions as well, but they aren’t really necessary for most of the action.
As of today (6/18/12) there are 533 scenes on Anabolic.com. They just started adding them about six months ago so they are on a pace of more than one per day and the frequency seems to be picking up.
