Bibi Jones Quits Porn

Among the usual XXX PR and good morning shots across the social media bow, two rather big stories have emerged. Here is the first.

First comes word that Digital Playground contract star Bibi Jones is packing it in. During her time as a DP contract girl, Bibi has starred in movies such as Fighters and Babysitters 2.

At just twenty years old, the tall blonde has made quite a splash with fans thanks to her girl next door look and killer body. Her sexual escapades off camera have garnered her as much attention as her on-camera performances and have stirred up plenty of controversy and drama as well.

Last year Bibi engaged in a very public social media battle with other DP contract stars. The feud threatened to break the send some of the more popular DP stars packing and dramatically threatened the brand. She was also publicly linked to New England Patriots All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski which put her front and center as a crossover media star. Bibi enjoyed the spotlight while the Patriots and Gronkowski tried to minimize their exposure.

In a video posted on her Facebook page, Bibi appears exhausted, on the verge of tears and unsure of her words. It is as if something bad has happened, some final straw that has pushed her to this point. She reads a passage from “The Power of Now” alluding to problems in the work place and then announces that she is leaving the adult industry.

During her five minute retirement speech, Bibi discusses how difficult her career has been on her family, alludes to promises made but not delivered upon and finally says “I can’t do it any more…The earlier I get out of this industry, the better its going to be.”

She adds that she has “nothing negative to say about porn or the people involved in it.” before finally turning off the camera.

I interviewed Bibi in Vegas this January and she was bright and bubbly for the camera. She was quick to praise Digital Playground and was excited by the company’s recent sale to Manwin. There was also something vastly different about her compared to some of her DP contract sisters. I’ll get the video up and let you guys decide for yourself. Suffice it say however, that while there is no “I” in T-E-A-M, there are obviously two in Bibi.

Whatever led to this move, I wish Bibi well. If what she said is true for her, then I am glad she is getting it now, before whatever is driving this can get worse.
