Passion Productions Titles Acquired by Platinum Blue Distribution

Chatsworth, California ” Passion Productions titles are now available through Platinum Blue Distribution. ‘American Sex Idol’ starring Jessica Jaymes, Jessica Drake and Dick Smothers, Junior will be the first title released under the deal, with retail shipments scheduled for June 21, 2006.

Platinum Blue will be handling the on going DVD distribution to ‘Sex Down and Dirty 2’, ‘House of Harlots’, ‘Forum 10’ and ‘Sex For Sale’, a sex industry parody featuring a bevy of beauties from the ‘Howard Stern Show’, taking the sausage from Smothers and Evan Stone.

“These are well shot, fun, sex filled films,” says Platinum Blue President, Skye Blue. “Similar to movies I would have shot myself.
Passion Productions has a premium product line that we feel will fit in well with Platinum Blue’s own titles, as well as the great Amateur and wall-to-wall titles, and our hardcore features that appeal to couples.”

Alex Hill of CED brokered the deal with Platinum Blue Productions, “Skye Blue is a very well known director, and her company is a strong up and comer that has a great reputation for making deals with world wide distribution in DVD. Platinum Blue’s strength is in moving physical product, while CED is strongest in cable distribution.”
