It is time once again to dip into the mailbag and see what you fine people have to say about what has been written on this site in the last week or so. There are quite a few so let’s get to it. What is up with you lately man? Are you just burnt out? Are the hot summer months bad for you to be watching porn? Almost all of your new reviews totally rip into people. What gives?

Rog Replies: You aren’t the first person who has noticed that. I actually got a call from a director last week thanking me for a B because he figured that everything was getting trashed this month. That isn’t the case and I don’t feel burnt (or burned) out at all. I just think that I got a batch of movies that bugged me. I chose Diabolic to be the featured company for June and that turned out to be an adventure. A lot of the stuff going on gonzo porn right just bugs me. I like women and I like porn that is made for guys who like women. It doesn’t have to be romantic and shit, but isn’t sex supposed to be fun? Isn’t porn supposed to be about fantasy and escapism? What is fun about a girl fake gagging her way through a scene where she is clearly bored? Where is the fantasy value in having a director show us all that…SHOCK….young girls will do degrading and stupid things for money? Where is the escapism in listening to a girl talk about being anally raped by her step father at six only to learn to like it?
The “Jackassization” of porn is something that I don’t like and as I always have…I’m going to keep pointing out the bad with the good. As I told a friend recently, I am starting to understand Patrick Riley better. The main differences between two of us are that I actually like porn and he can actually spell.

Rog Replies: You are 100% correct. BullshitFlash is hardly the only hate site working. You are also 100% correct that both sides do it. The difference of course is that I don’t link to right-wing (or any wing) nut-bar hate sites. You don’t see me sending readers to blindly follow Rush or Sean or whoever the way Tod does. That’s my objection. These sites serve their purpose and I visit them from time to time. I object to them being passed off as ‘news’ sites because they aren’t. They are political hit sites where well funded people feed hated and often lies to poli-cheers. Then other poli-cheers use their headline farms to spread that shit all over the place.
That is what I find so annoying. Most of the political rants you see on this site, love them or hate them, are mine. I read stuff and then I run everything I know plus everything I read through my thought process and it comes out. Sometimes that fits with a political party’s agenda and sometimes it doesn’t. I refuse to be a slave to a party or some kind of lame toadie for either party. That isn’t me and it never will be. (Unless of course I am hired to write PR for them in which case I may end up sounding a lot like Tod.)
So you are right, but you miss the point. When I start linking people to Ann Coulter or try to tell you that she isn’t just flip side of Michael Moore, then you have a point.

Did you happen to notice that after throwing a bitchfit over the Line Item Veto last week that Tod had not a word to say about the tortured Russians or the kidnapped Israeli soldier? Apparently kidnap murder and torture do not create as much outrage as something so hideous as a President wanting the Line Item Veto.

Rog Replies: Did I notice? To be honest I didn’t. I’ve been really busy and haven’t read his site in a few days. That doesn’t surprise me though. Such stories don’t have a “fuck Bush” slant to them so why would Tod pay them any mind? I doubt that he isn’t outraged over torture and murder, but if it doesn’t fit the pre-determined criteria then you aren’t going to see anything about them. Come on…he’s a poli-cheer, not a monster.
