AXEL BRAUN AND VIVID WIN BIG AT XRCO AWARDS; BRAUN CROWNED BEST DIRECTOR FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR.

Vivid Entertainment and Axel Braun picked up major honors once again at the XRCO Awards ceremony, which was held over the weekend at the famed Supperclub in Hollywood. Undisputed King of Parody Braun added another prestigious trophy to his extensive collection by winning Best Director/Parody for the third year in a row. The Best Parody/Comedy award went to the ABP/Vivid mega-blockbuster Star Wars XXX while Best Parody/Comic Book was given to fan favorite Superman Vs Spider-Man XXX.

“This is total awesomeness!†said a clearly thrilled and sleep-deprived Braun, who welcomed a baby girl into his family just four days earlier. “Keeping up the level of quality that we have established with these parodies is not an easy task, and I have to thank Eli Cross and my incredible crew for all their hard work and support. Every movie we make is truly a labor of love, and I’m just lucky to receive accolades for doing something that I enjoy so much.â€
This is the first award for Superman vs. Spider-Man XXX, Braun’s big-budget spoof of the 1976 cult classic crossover comic, poised to be a major contender during the upcoming awards season.
Since 1984 the X-Rated Critics Organization has given writers and editors from the adult entertainment industry a voice in selecting the yearly best in X-Rated movies. XRCO recognizes works of excellence, specifically the unique qualities of sexually explicit films.
