Snapverse Continues to Grow Music Catalogue, Inspire More Incredible Music Videos

BOSTON, Mass. New mobile app Snapverse is set to turn everyone’s life into a music video – literally – with an all-new platform that takes video clips, overlays twenty seconds of incredible songs and creates personal music moments to share with friends in an instant.

Everyone is a music video director in our heads. Snapverse is unique in that the free app builds a mood with music, adding bounce to acrobatic cat videos, groove to nighttime party clips, depth to family home movies and most importantly, theme songs that perfectly sum up the soundtrack of our lives.

“Through our relationships with the major music labels, Snapverse is able to offer our members a deep catalog of free music which they can add to their 20 second videos and share with friends,” says Snapverse CEO Scot McCracken. “We believe that music makes everything better and using it to enhance videos is what sets us apart.”

Snapverse is expanding its catalog regularly, launching with songs by such artists as Pearl Jam, Bon Iver, Sara Bareilles, Matt and Kim, We the Kings, Dumpstaphunk, Train, Chris Brown and more. Addictively easy to use and navigate, users simply shoot video, select a song and share. Music tracks are organized by artist and theme, allowing members to discover new music based on the emotion they want their video to convey.

Members can also select videos from their phone’s library to add music. Now you can take videos already created and add music.
Snapverse “snaps” can be shared via Twitter, Facebook and email. Members can caption, #hashtag and respond to other snaps via the “snapback” function, a whole new way to create comments using videos. Members can follow others on Snapverse, ‘Like’ their snaps and make video comments on the Snapverse network. Snapverse also provides a catalog of pre-edited snaps for members to share with friends.

Snapverse is free at the iTunes App Store. For more, go to http://www.thesnapverse.com.
