Fantasy Football Week 8: One unbeaten, No Winless Teams Left
Trash talking is at an all time low. Come on guys. This is a fantasy football league with porn folks and we are acting like it’s fucking high tea with the bloody queen. It’s so much more fun when people get involved, but hey, I can do this on my own. Isn’t that what porn is all about anyway? Then again, anyone reading this is probably just doing so to check out the picture of hot girls that go along with the posts. Speaking of hot girls…
Before I continue with the update, the usual disclaimer: We are always looking for eye candy and cheerleaders for our league. Send over a picture or two and I’ll post it along with links to your site, cam page or whatever. In fact, the link below to Streamate has plenty of cam models. This is an open request to any cam model who wants to be added to our fantasy football updates to send something in.
RogReviews.com League 1: In a rematch of the most unlikely upset of the year, Rog’s Potatoes overcame a huge game from Drew Brees (35 points) and hold of Cody’s Amayezing team 108-104. The close win ran Rog’s record to 4-2 and ended Cody’s four game run to return him to .500. Astro kept pace with the leaders thanks to an easy win over the Dy-Nasty. Ed’s squad fell flat against TDs and Beer thanks to Jordy Nelson going nuts for 26 points. That leaves Ed and Astro one game back of the league’s best. The week’s highest score went to the Boston Haze who put up 117 points thanks to Calvin Johnson’s whopping 40 points. With just five weeks to go in the regular season, no team is more than two games out of a playoff spot and only three games separate first from last.
RogReviews.com League 2: This leagues isn’t nearly as close and neither were the week 8 match ups. After finally getting into the win column last week, Rog’s team tanked again falling 135 to 76 against Al’s powerhouse Beach Stars team. Tim’s Intimidators kept pace at 6-2 with a thirty point win over Natalie Dawn’s team. The closest match up in this league was 21 points, making for a very lopsided week with the top teams mostly rolling. Sheldon’s ASSassins were the exception, dropping out of the thre-way tie at the top thanks to a loss to Rick’s Crown N Coke squad. Time is running out for most teams in the league with Rog and Natalie battling it out for the first pick in next year’s draft and little else. This week’s best game should come from the ASSassins and Team Yeung putting identical 5-3 records on the line.
2008 RogReviews.com League: Big news at the top and bottom of this league. Astro put up 140 points (Second only to Aly’s 142) to easily roll Brian and keep his record perfect at 8-0. At the other end of the spectrum, the Wolfpack finally got into the win column by using a 138-103 win over Bono to grab that first victory. Aly continued to roll up big numbers and stay within one game of Astro. Those two teams appear to be headed for a post-season showdown.
That’s all for this week. Anyone who feels like writing a wrap up of the three leagues is welcome to step in. We are also looking for any eye candy that ANYONE wants to send in. We will promote you, your site or anything. Just fire it over.
