Karla Lane Makes History in a New AVN Category

(Los Angeles, CA) Karla Lane is part of history—she’s one of the performers to be nominated for BBW Performer of the Year, a brand new AVN Awards category. Although BBWs have been thought of as a niche in the past, it’s one of the biggest growing genres. The list of nominees is quite remarkable and also includes April Flores, Courtney Trouble and Klaudia Kelly. Karla is definitely one of the top contenders—she’s been in the industry longer than any of the other nominees (she started in 2005 right when she turned 18), she’s filmed over 600 scenes for DVDs and the Internet and has over 200 DVDs on store shelves, and she also has a huge fan base.

“I was so excited when the nominations came out and couldn’t believe I was nominated in a category with April Flores and Courtney Trouble—April is a legend and Courtney is an amazing director,” says Karla Lane. “I’d love to win, but there’s some stiff competition. I’m really glad AVN is recognizing BBWs as part of their awards.”
