PornoTube.com Survives Celebrity Sex Tape Scandal
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – PornoTube.com, the popular self-publishing adult video site, was flooded with celebrity scandal seeking visitors on Wednesday afternoon. An internet rumor that a certain female popstar’s sex tape was published on the site brought an unprecedented number of visitors.
Early Wednesday morning a user uploaded 19 seconds of video that tested the limits of the already popular website. The video claimed to be an excerpt from a famous popstar sex tape. It is not known if the user who uploaded the video tipped off celebrity gossip sites and bloggers or if one of PornoTubes visitors did so. Regardless of who pointed out the video the result was a wave of traffic hitting the site that far exceeded any previous day in the site’s short history.
The video that generated this massive stir was a grainy amateur quality video showing a close up of a woman performing a sexual act on her male partner. The video was labeled to suggest it was depicting a certain star and her soon to be ex-husband but it is believed to be a hoax. Hoax or not it was a video that everyone wanted to see for themselves.
A spokesperson for PornoTube.com was quoted as saying “Wednesday afternoon we were being inundated with phone calls and emails from news organizations wanting information on the video.” They went on to say “We were concentrating on keeping the website operational not on answering media questions.”
