California Exotic Novelties sadly announced today the retirement of Adult Industry Veteran, Robert Miller. Miller had been with the company for well over a decade and watched it become one of the world’s leading manufacturer of Adult Toys and Novelties.

Miller has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with CEN’s founder Susan Colvin that dates back more than a dozen years. In an industry where short-term employment and constant movement is the norm, their relationship has endured.

After working for Warner Brothers, Miller entered the Adult industry as an Operations Manager and eventually climbed to his current position as traveling liaison and sales representative for California Exotic Novelties.

“Not seeing Robert every day is really going to take some getting used to,” admitted a reflective Colvin. “For over thirteen years he’s been a loyal and dedicated friend, as well as, employee … he will truly be missed. He possessed a talent for working with Distributors and Retailers alike, and he is well known for his unique ability to visit a retail store once and recall – in the finest detail – everything about the location. He has visited just about every retail location in the world! We all wish him nothing but the best as he begins this exciting ‘next step’.”

Though he will certainly miss his friends and colleagues, Miller is looking forward to the uncertainty of the future.

“I have to admit, it will be a little strange not having to be somewhere at 7:00 in the morning ” but I am looking forward to having the time to pursue a variety of interests.”
