Last Day To Vote: Here’s a Little Voting Guide

OK, so someone emailed and asked if I was going to post my ballot. I hadn’t planned on it, but since this is pretty much the last day to vote in the 2007 FAME Awards I figured I would go ahead. Yes, I know this is probably going to win me more enemies than friends, but hopefully everyone will understand that this is my ballot. Follow my lead or vote for someone else. All I hope to do here is to remind you to vote and maybe shed some light on some deserving though lesser-known candidates.

Favorite Female Starlet:

This is the big one and it really shows that this is a serious popularity contest. We’ve got the biggest name in the business on this list. Since is says “Favorite” starlet, I guess that makes sense. We all know that Hillary Scott has won virtually every award possible in the last year and she has had the best year of any woman on this list. Jenna Jameson, Carmen Luvana and Tera Patrick are huge stars, but none of them had the short of year that Hillary had. She gets my vote with Jenna Haze, Jesse Jane and Stormy also worthy of a vote.

Favorite Male Star

There are a whole lot of high-profile feature guys here. Evan, Tommy, Julian, Randy….wow. Nick Manning? People will think that I’m being a smart ass, but I’m actually shocked that Kurt Lockwood didn’t show up in the final eight. Shane is in just about everything these days. This is a popularity contest so I suppose it makes sense that most of the best male performers aren’t actually on the list. (Lex, Everhard, Stefano, Brandon, Manuel etc.) In fact, how did Steve Holmes sneak in there with the rest of these guys? He would be a very solid choice. I’m going with Scott Nails though. He’s an excellent performer and doesn’t get his due. (Unlike Tommy Gunn who is excellent, but has been winning a bunch of awards lately.)

Favorite Oral Starlet:

This is one of the awards that makes me just scratch my head. Don’t get me wrong guys. I wouldn’t turn down a blowjob from any of the eight women on this list. Not by a long shot. But if this were “best” instead of “favorite” I might just have to break something in protest. How can we even discuss oral sex in porn without starting with Mika Tan? She and Annette Schwarz are the most skilled cock suckers in the business right now, period. I may not always like the noises she makes, but Hillary Scott is also head and shoulders above nearly everyone on this list. Since we can’t talk about who isn’t on the list, let’s go with someone who is. Teagan, Carmen, Eva, Roxy, Courtney and Tory are great, but Jenna Haze is the best oral artist of the bunch.

Favorite Anal Starlet:

Again, any list that doesn’t include Hillary Scott would seem to be fatally flawed. It’s a tough thing to pick anyway. We should assume that this would be anal sex and not just great asses. It’s tough to separate sometimes, especially when you have Naomi, Bella and Flower in the mix. These are women with great asses who do awesome anal scenes. This one is really tough for me. I love Flower, Tory is hot and Missy is underrated. From this list though, it is tough to say that anyone is any hotter with a dick in her ass than Courtney Cummz.

Favorite Breasts:

OK, this one is easy for me. For everyone else it might take some thinking. Do breasts need to be big to be your favorite? Do they need to be real? Should I pick the “best” breasts as my favorite? There are some awesome racks here. We have the fantastic real boobs of Amy Reid and Gianna as well as some the nicest man-made racks in the business. Shyla Stylez has a really great set (I got to feel them) and so does Stormy. (Never had the chance.) Oddly enough Jesse Jane has a new set so perhaps she could win back to back with different racks. Ironically I think Tera Patrick had one of the very best racks in the business when she was natural. Why do people mess with perfection? And since we have fake racks in there we should still be looking at Hillary Scott. Hers are fantastic and they feel amazing. Still, this is a two melon race folks, Gianna hands down.

Favorite Ass:

Once again we run into a problem. No Katja Kassin? No Naomi? Come on. There is a nice mix here though. Some big asses and a whole lot of little ones. Gina Lynn, Sunny Lane and Bella certainly have fantastic backsides. Jenna Haze and Teagan have great little asses. Great shape can be as good as tremendous girth. I love the fact that Jenaveve Jolie is on this list though I honestly think she should be included in the discussion for best body. As much as I love Carmen’s butt, I’m going to have to go with Sunny Lane on this one.

Hottest Body:

This is another category that is all about personal taste. You have a whole, whole, WHOLE lot of skinny girls. Jenna Haze is awesome, but not my ideal body type. Same with Teagan and Kirsten Price. I really like Jesse, but she’s getting thin as well. I honestly think that Sophia Santi has the best body of the girls in this category. Jenna, Jesse and Teagan are right behind with Tera deserving a nod as well. Again, pre-surgery, this was Tera‘s award every year as far as I’m concerned.

Once again, we can’t vote for people who should be on the list, only for people who actually are on the list. There is really nothing wrong with the women on this list. Amy is a fantastic beauty, Audrey is super cute. Annette is one of the hardest fucking performers in the game and Casey Parker has that girl next door thing going for her. None of those four get my vote though. Dana DeArmond has that huge alt following, but people might have overlooked that she is actually a great performer and damn fine looking. Sasha Grey is gorgeous and can be scary hot in her scenes. Yet neither of these two get my vote. That leaves Sophia Rossiand Tia Tanaka. One of them has my vote, the other didn’t get mentioned above. You do the math.

Favorite Feature Movie

Wow, a couple of real features and a handful of all sex movies that just happen to be pretty. My favorite from last year was Tailgunners, but Corruption was a close second. Fashionistas 2 was a very hot movie and Joanna’s Angel 2 was really funny. This should be a one horse race though.

Favorite Gonzo Movie:

Oh come on. Jenna Haze Darkside. Nothing else is close. There are some good movies on the list including Jack’s Asian Adventure and G For Gianna, but this Jenna Haze Darkside movie really was the best gonzo flick of the last year by a landslide.

Favorite Director

Can I go ahead and rant about this category at least? Jules is a given. For my money he is still the best director in porn. Eli did a great, seriously great movie. Rocco is damn good and I’ve always like Seymore. But the rest of these guys? OK, Brad had a decent year, but I think Michael Raven was stronger last year if you’re going to go with a Wicked feature guy. No Darkko? No Jim Powers? No Robby D? No Mike John? No Everhard? No C. Clark? He,, no Michael Ninn? Here’s a little scoop folks. Tina Tyler made more strokeable porn flicks last year than Eon, PT and Justin combined. This is a weak, weak field. That shouldn’t weaken the award for Jules though. He deserves to win in a landslide.

Dirtiest Girl in Porn:

Hmmm, tough call here. Some very dirty girls. I LOVE Annie Cruz and she doesn’t get nearly enough credit. Hillary Scott should get points for being in this league and still looking as hot as she does. Bella is dirty, but her scenes haven’t show much life lately. Ashley Blue is always dirty and in the end, I’m going to pick my favorite dirty girl on the list.

Favorite Studio:

Two words for ya…..Evil Fucking Angel. Still the best of the best. Jules Jordan Video had a great first year, Digital Playground makes hot movies, Wicked is good, Zero Tolerance….there are lots of good companies, but the Evil Empire is still on top.

Wild Card: All Time Favorite:

Not fair to throw the women in with the men. Look, this says favorite so I’m voting Christy Canyon. Ginger Lynn would be a very close second with Marilyn third then Jenna Jameson and Janine.
