Sunday, Fun Day: It’s NFL kickoff baby. I know there was a game Thursday night, but this is the first Sunday of the season and I’m ready to sit in my chair, watch Sunday Ticket and consume many, many cold beverages. I’m sure I won’t manage to watch the entire day so I’ll be working before the games end. As you will see later in this blog, I spent most of Saturday reviewing a compilation disc that is a must own. Yes, folks, a movie you just have to have. It’s that good. So if you’re reading this on Monday or if you just don’t give a damn about football, scroll down a bit, order that movie and then read the review. With standard shipping it should arrive about the time you finish this massive freaking review. For those of you glued to the tube like me, enjoy the first full day of what makes fall great. Most Own DVD for 2007: Elegant Angel just released a new movie that is just incredible. The Greatest Sodomania Series Ever 1. It is a three-disc, seven hour collection of some of the best scenes from the Sodomania series. If you are even a casual fan of porn from the 90’s, foot play, role play or of girls like Tiffany Mynx, Nici Sterling, Alicia Rio, Kaitlyn Ashley, Kitty Yung or any of the other women in the cast, then you simply must own this DVD. If it seems a little long, just imagine the daunting task of choosing only the very best from a series that has brought us so many great scenes. I’m sure that Patrick Collins and Michael Cates spent countless hours weighing their options. I can say with great confidence, that the collection is worth owning. It should be mandatory viewing for young porn makers as well. If nothing else it might show them that at least some of the heat can come from above the neck.

Mainstream Movies: We watched a couple of movies this week. One, “Knocked Up” was pretty good. Not as funny as “40 Year Old Virgin” but it had its moments. The other, “Alpha Dog” was absolutely incredible. This is the flick that got Justin Timberlake a lot of praise and he was pretty good. The rest of the cast though, was awesome. It was a tight script with some great acting. If you get a chance, rent or buy this one. It’s really solid. This week’s mainstream DVD buy list is pretty short. Las Vegas Season 4 is coming out. I know it’s cheesy, but I love it. I’m just about done with my three season marathon and since I missed nearly every episode last year (Damn that upstairs TiVo) it will be perfect timing. The other DVD I plan to buy is “Face Off” on HD-DVD. I know that a lot of people really hated this movie, but I love it. It will be my 4th mainstream HD (After King Kong, Rio Bravo & 300.)

Is Man Ass Taking Over?: Every couple of years, porn is hit by something new. Not really new of course, but something that rises to the top of the popular niche/fetish list for a time. We see something go from marginal to mainstream as companies fall all over themselves to cram store shelves with the latest line featuring the latest niche. In recent years we have seen cream pies, double anal, cum swapping, MILFs blowbangs go from fringe fetish niche category to center stage. Even TS movies have moved from the “gay” side of porn to the “straight” side in the last few years.
