Coming Down to the Wire
Baseball: What an amazing weekend of baseball. It took until game 160 out of 162 for a single National League team to clinch a playoff spot. That’s pretty amazing on its own. Then throw in the colossal tank by the Mets, the miraculous comeback by the Phillies and the fact that the Rockies and Padres have to play an extra game just to decide the Wild Card and you have one hell of a great weekend of baseball. The post season hasn’t even begun and already the storylines are everywhere. Can the Cubs be the latest team to break their curse? Can the Phillies turn their huge run into post season gold? Will the Sox and Angels have a repeat of 2004? Will the Yankees turn a second place finish into a world title? Can anyone in the NL beat whoever wins the AL. It’s been a great baseball season and it’s not over yet.

Haley Paige: Pretty much everyone is talking about it now, but it does appear that Haley Paige is dead. No autopsy results or cause of death have been uncovered and I find that a bit odd. It makes one wonder if this is a case of the porn persona being killed off and the family simply wanting their daughter to get away from an (allegedly) abusive boyfriend. The other interesting rumor is that Chico Wang may have had something to do with Haley’s death. Some have even reported that he may be dead himself. No confirmation on that of course so any speculation would be unfair at this point. I’ve known Chico for a number of years. He worked at Extreme way back in the day, then at Anabolic/Diabolic. He used to call the house late at night with some crazy shit going on. (He once had Taylor Rain get on the phone and offer to blow me. Come to think of it, I probably should have taken her up on that offer.) I have tried to contact Chico both by phone and email. The number I have is an old one and so far the emails have gone unanswered. I’ll keep an eye out on this story. If it’s true and Haley is dead, God bless her family. I met her only once and she was a very sweet girl. I can’t imagine the pain they must be feeling.

Redheads Are Red Hot: It has been said that blondes have more fun, but that apparently isn’t the case. According to a study by Hamburg Sex Researcher Professor Dr Werner Habermehl, it is redheads who actually have more active sex lives than their blonde or brunette gal pal. The study showed that redheads have more partners on average and engage in sex more frequently than the other women surveyed. So there you go guys, if you want to have some hot sex, find yourself a redhead. Speaking of, what ever happened to Sarah Jane Hamilton?

Brent Mus-Bruin>: So I’m home watching college football on Saturday. It was an amazing day of upsets and USC damn near found a way to be one of the top teams to fall. Since I end up going to a lot of the USC games (Thanks to some amazing friends) and watch very few on TV I haven’t really noticed Brent Musberger’s calls of their games until this weekend. What the hell is his deal? Did he go to UCLA? Notre Dame? He’s got a serious bug up his ass about the Trojans. Every time he made a call it was as if he was dying to stick it to USC. It’s a good thing I don’t have to listen to him all that often because it was just freaking ridiculous.
Eye Candy: Reality porn, old school style, a hot blonde gets nailed on the BangBus.
Random Note: The Fugitive was on TNT HD over the weekend and I just let it play while I was finishing up some work. My God Tommy Lee Jones rocks in that movie. He is absolutely perfect. Speaking of mainstream movies, we snuck off to see The Kingdom last Friday and it was outstanding. One of the best movies I’ve seen in 2007. Go see it. That’s it for now. I have to finish editing my review of Justin Slayer’s Merc and then get started on Not the Bradys XXX.
