Happy Veteran’s Day
Thank You: There is a lot to cover today, but not before I say a huge thank you to all of the veterans out there. It is only by the grace of your strength and sacrifice that someone like me can spend his time writing about porn. It has become a cliché to remind everyone that freedom isn’t free. Well today, that shouldn’t be a cliché. Take some time to remember the veterans in your family and community, be they living or dead. Remember what they have sacrificed. Remember that even as we bicker internally, it is only thanks to the blood of these men and women that we can afford the luxury of such debate. To those of you with family members currently serving overseas, a special thank you. Your loved ones are appreciated, thought of often and prayed for. They are doing a vital job and we all owe you a huge debt of gratitude. Thank you Veterans, one and all.
Eye Candy: A little eye candy from Twistys. Just a little fun from Lacey Duvalle. Hot, hot, hot.
New Interview: Yes, it’s finally up. My Shay Jordan Interview is finally up. It took way too long and I’m sorry about that. I hope you enjoy the interview. Shay is a lot of fun. If you listen to the audio, please give me some feedback. I’ve been playing with the noise reduction trying to get it as good as possible. Look for more interviews this week. I have Robby D, jessica drake and Sasha Grey coming up this week and will be doing a few new ones as well. Look for audio-only versions of those new ones. Hopefully that will help with the lag time.
Eye Candy: Speaking of Sasha Grey, here she is on Penthouse.com looking delicious.
Need Nomination Lists: It’s almost time to start voting folks. I need a list of nominees for the RogReviews Fan Fave Awards. Right now I am committed to not adding any names myself. I want this to come from you entirely. So, send me your favorites. Best Female, Best Male, Best Director, Favorite Company, Best Newbie and Best DVD. Send them in because if you’re favorite is not on the ballot, you have no one to blame but yourself.
Eye Candy: Something fun from Hustler. Sexy Michelle Maylene from Hometown Cuties. I wish she lived in my town. How about right next door?
Sports Weekend: OK I get to smile today because it was quite a sports weekend. While I was in the park celebrating my birthday with family, eating all of my favorite dishes and opening some cool gifts (Wireless headphones for the new laptop, loads of Best Buy cash and some great books, thank you very much.) the Sooners were blasting away on Baylor, moving up to number four in the BCS. They have to take care of business against OK St. and then be ready for a killer showdown with #3 Kansas in the Big 12 Title Game. Even with a win there, Oregon or LSU would have to lose. They have a shot though and that is all I can ask for. When I got home, I watched the second half of the USC/Cal game. Even though the Trojans are out of the title hunt, they still played a solid game at Berkley and are in line for a Rose Bowl trip if they win out against ASU and UCLA and Oregon ends up in the title game. Not bad for a team with two losses and is in a “down” year. About the same time the Trojans were holding off the Bears, the Celtics wrapped up their fifth straight win. It’s still early, but a road win at New Jersey on the back of a back to back is pretty impressive. Health is still a long term concern, but for right now, Boston is the best looking team in that division and it has been a long, long time since I’ve been able to say that. So we move to Sunday with the Chargers facing the Colts. On the brink of dropping below .500 and coming off an embarrassing loss, I was more than prepared to watch them lay a huge egg on national TV again. Then they go out and give me hope. They run two dicks back for TDs and pick Manning five times in the first half. (That one handed by Cromarte was freaking unreal.) The offense didn’t do much an the game slipped away during the second half. I don’t know what is up with Rivers, but he couldn’t hit the water if he fell out of a boat these days. That fumble in the end zone was horrible and all was set for another Manning comeback. It didn’t help that the Colts got a gimmie on that non interference call with about ten minutes to play. The Colts moved the ball down the field at will, had the clock in their favor and were all set to turn a missed extra point into the difference. Then things got strange. A replay took away a first down, forcing the Colts to kick a chip shot field goal that sailed wide right. Ball game folks, season possibly saved. Hey, the Chargers got lucky, but sometimes you have to get lucky to make something happen. All in all, it was a good sports weekend. Haven’t had many of those lately.
Eye Candy: Since we’re talking sports, how about a video gallery of Tiffany’s cheerleader audition to make a smooth transition.
