Only 10 Days Til Christmas, Chasey is Alive and Casey Parker is an Anal Ring Toss Girl?

Holidays Are Here: I can’t believe that it’s down to ten day’s until Christmas. My shopping is not done, though it almost is. I’m pretty happy about that. I’ll try to update the site over the holiday though I will be spending a few days with the family. I should have some reviews and the news during that time is usually pretty slow. We’re all ramping up for Vegas which is now less than a month away. I can’t believe it. I’m still looking for mainstream links so please send them over. What sites did you use to order holiday gifts? Did you buy anything form Amazon.com (I did a lot there this year. Found some DVDs and Books for my grandfather the jazz fan.) Need tickets for someone on your list to a sporting event or concert? I’ve got StubHub.com on the links page now. (I’ve used them before and got some great out of town baseball tickets.) Someone mentioned cell phones, so I found this. Get a new Motorola phone at TracFone for as little as $14.99. Never trid TracFone, so if anyone has anything to say about it, let me know. I only want useful links. That’s it for today. I have to run out the Home Depot later to get a tree and my last few gifts. (No, Mrs. Rog is not getting a screwdriver set.) Good luck shopping this weekend and enjoy the rest of the news/blog.

Porn Rumors: So this story has come and gone before I even had time to bring it up. Someone latched onto a MySpace blog that listed former Vivid Girl Chasey Lain as among those porners who have died of drug over-doses. This isn’t the first time rumors of Chasey’s death have made the rounds. This time they were quickly put down. So just in case you missed it, Chasey Lain is alive and well. The good news about how rapidly thee internet rumors spread is that the truth can be spread just as quickly.

Casey Parker Vs. Her Ex: I realize that some of this is a recap and some of it is internet feuding, but I think it opens some interesting questions. Over on AdultDVDTalk.com there is a post by a guy named Chester Kingwood. He starts his post by calling into question the AVN nomination process for Best New Starlet. Chester claims that Shane’s World contract babe Casey Parker was actually shooting internet content for him in 2004. Look, the Best New Starlet dates have always been a bit fuzzy. Some girls take a year to even get noticed, others are on the radar right away. No matter when she started shooting internet content, AVN deals with movie releases so her inclusion on the list is pretty much a given. Chester goes on to attack Shane’s World for their promotion of Casey as a girl from Colorado who saw a movie and just wanted to expand her sexual horizons. I think we all know that there is a certain amount of legend building in the porn world. A lot of resume padding if you will. The porn world is all about fantasy and we give them a bit of rope. At this point in the post Chester tells us that Casey was an Anal Ring Toss Girl and you can figure out what that means. He goes on to make a lot allegations about drug use, fraud and legal action by Casey’s family and Shane’s World to prevent him from releasing footage of her. (If you have the IDs and 2257 on the scenes, then what is stopping you from releasing the movie?) Megan from Shane’s World answered many of the charges later in the thread. She calls into questions many of the ‘facts’ as Chester lays them out. Megan explains that the cease and desist lawsuit to stop the movie was for copyright infringement. (So release it without using the name, what’s the hold up?) In short, Megan shoots down pretty much all of Chester’s original post. His reply though, is somewhat interesting to me. Read it all and then think about this. Not as it relates specifically to Casey or Shane’s World, but to porn as a whole. Is anyone looking out for these girls? Do they need looking out for? What can or should be done to make sure that the industry isn’t making bad situations worse? I’ve never heard of Chester or his company, but let’s just take him at his word. Providing a 401K? Convincing girls that work outs are better than drugs and alcohol? It sounds very good. I want to make it clear that I’m not taking his side in this. Megan shot holes in most everything he said about the specific case, but he may have a broader point that we should at least listen to. Then again, we might be more inclined to listen if he didn’t come out swinging in a manner that at least brings the whole “suitcase pimp” thing to the tips of our tongues. I have yet to sit down with Casey, though I intend to do so in Vegas this year. Perhaps she can shed some light on this. I also leave the door open to Casey, Chester or anyone at Shane’s World to comment further on the site. Consider the invitation extended. We literally have some of the best performers of 07 on this list. It would be tough to argue against Bree Olson for anything. I believe that she, Alexis Texas, Audrey Bitoni and Shay Jordan would be solid choices for the Female Performer of the Year category. If you look the women just a half step down from that elite group you get Ashlynn Brooke, Casey Parker, Lela Star, Maya Hills, Natasha Nice, Paulina James….wow. Seriously talented lot of women here. This one seems so obvious that I will probably be wrong. I would have to go with Bree as the probably winner, though Shay certainly deserves a nod. To be honest just about every woman on this list could win without me being too terribly shocked. Though there are quite a few names I would put on this list (Nadi Phucket, Moxxie Maddron, Micah Moore, Ashley Jensen), it would be tough to argue that any of the women listed should be replaced. If I had to pick a woman who was overlooked it would have to be Whitney Stevens. I really think the voters missed the boar here. How can she not be here?
