The Final Four

It has taken three rounds to get us down to the final four, but the last round is finally here. Next year I’m going to start it a few days earlier so the whole thing can be finished before the holidays, but otherwise I’m pretty happy so far. The voter turn out has been good and the system works pretty well. (Remember to check your junk mail folder) Any suggestions you have for next year would be welcome. Good luck everyone. Time to get some trophies ready.

Best Company: To no one’s surprise,
Jules Jordan Video and Evil Angel came out of bracket one. Zero Tolerance came in with about half as many votes as the two winners. It was a close race so we’ll see how these two power house companies do in the final four. It was a three way race in bracket two. Digital Playground game out on top over Elegant Angel. Red Light District made it interesting, but came up short. My original Picks for the final four were (My Picks for the Final Four: Evil Angel, Digital Playground, Anabolic &

Best Movie: Interactive Sex with Jenna Haze continued an amazing run, coming up with nearly 38% of the vote to easily advance. Ass Worship 10 came in second, ending the surprising run by Elegant Angel’s Big Wet Asses 10. Jeana vs. Jules in the finals. Jules other movie Flesh Hunter 9 also made the cut, finishing second to Babysitters. The Digital Playground title is the last feature standing, setting up a battle between a feature, an interactive title starring the most popular girl in the pole and two gonzo flicks from the most popular director in the poll. You have to love the variety. I ended up with only 1 right in this final four. My Picks For the Final Four: Interactive Sex with Jenna Haze, Upload, Belladonna’s Dark Meat 2 & Fashionistas Safado Berlin.

Best Director: Once again Belladonna was the last woman standing in the best director category. She won a close battle over Mike John to win the bracket with Erik Everhard being left out of the mix this year. (I think he needed the BoxinJax vote to push him over.) Jules Jordan grabbed more than half the vote in his bracket, setting him up a heavy favorite to win the poll once again. Robby D held of Johnni Darkko to join the final four. I got three of the four in this one. (My Picks for the Final Four: Jules Jordan, Robby D, Mike John & Jonni Darkko.

Best Female Performer: The Jenna Haze express just keeps rolling right along. She more than doubled second place finisher Sasha Grey. Both advanced even as last year’s winner Hillary Scott didn’t make the cut. Bracket two was much closer. Bree Olson scored 30%, but second place finisher Jesse Jane beat out Eva Angelina by a single vote. I was half right on this one. Best Male Performer: Manuel Ferrara and Evan Stone took bracket two, pulling off a bit of an upset. Erik Everhard who has won the award before was narrowly beaten by Stone. This was a tough round for Everhard who also narrowly missed the top 4 as a director. Tommy Gunn scored well, joining Jules Jordan to round out the top four. Another 2-4 night for me with this one. Best Newbie: The new girl race is down to a few very big names. Bree Olson is the heavy favorite and she scored the highest totals for anyone in round 3. Jenny Hendrix squeezed past Audri Bitoni to earn the other spot. Bracket one was much closer with Rebeca Linares and Shay Jordan beating out a tough group. All five women had at least 11.5% in this tightly fought contest. I hit .500 again, getting two of the four. (My Picks for the Final Four: Whitney Stevens, Shay Jordan, Bobbi Starr & Bree Olson)

Most Wanted Celebrity: Jessica Alba, no shock and Kiera Knightly, shock there, made it. No Jessica on Jessica action as KK beat Jessica Beihl. Scarlett Johansen continues to the favorite along with Jennifer Love Hewitt as the dark horse. I picked two out of four again.
