Still More from a Busy Week
More on the Game: I am still planning on watching the commercials on Sunday and am really glad to hear that Fox has refused to run any political ads. We can all take a few hours off from a campaign cycle that seems to have started when Bill Belliceat…err Belichick was in Cleveland and Tony Eason was leading the Pats into the meat grinder. If you happen to live in a state with a primary coming up on Tuesday I am sure that it is even worse for you. I have seen so many commercials arguing one side of “Indian gaming deals” or the other that I’m starting to wonder if people will ever wake up to the idea that legalized gambling is the best way to go. Though I honestly don’t care who wins the game, I did go ahead and put a little money on it. I put some money on the Pats to cover the spread at 12 and for the teams go over 52.5 points. My prediction: Pats 34 Giants 17. Pretty easy pick I’d say. Now let’s just hope that Tom Petty doesn’t decide to have a wardrobe malfunction at half time.

X Biz Awards: Director Roy Karch’s Sinsation release Insertz garnered and XBiz Award nominations this week in the Feature Movie of the Year category. Karch is also nominated in the Featur Director of the Year category. The movies Aurora Snow, Nicole Sheridan, Mika Tan, Paulina James, Emily Evermore, Hershel Savage, Jay Ashley and Voodoo as the “Boy Wonder.”
“The entire cast and crew gave 110 percent on this one,” said Karch. “I
appreciate that XBiz has taken note of the effort of everyone involved. I’m
very proud and honored for the nominations.”
The XBiz Awards will be held on Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Highlands in
Hollywood.

Matt Zane & Dave Navarro: Talk about a match made in PR Heaven. Matt Zane will make his return to The Dave Navarro Show on February 5th at 8pm ET. (5pm PST) Dave will be interviewing Matt about his recent record-setting body suspension act. That’s right folks, they actually keep a record of these things and Zane was suspended for a longer period of time than Criss Angel and did so while being hung from four hooks instead of the usual eight.
“I am looking forward to having a cool conversation this time around and discussing things that are going on without having hooks pierced in my back. I am sure Dave won’t shy away from the Criss Angel situation and since my last appearance I have had some more movies released so there is plenty to cover.” Says Zane

AEE Gallery: I finally got all of the captions done for my AEE 2008 Gallery. I’m not happy with how few pictures I took and some of these shots need some additional captioning. I’m opening that up to all of you. If you see a shot and come up with a perfect caption, please email it over. I’ll put it up. I also have some extra photos to put up. Savana took some really hot shots and sent them over. My buddy Luke Mason also got one of Dana DeArmond and myself that should prove that she doesn’t totally hate me. (Or at least that can fake it really well.) Enjoy the photos.
