Mick Blue Reflects on ‘Unimaginable’ 2015
‘Anal Players’ from BAM Visions in Stores Now

It took 15 years and Mick Blue finally did it: He became the best male performer in the adult industry.
Mick started 2015 by winning Male Performer of the Year at the AVN Awards and did it again a couple months later at the XRCO Awards. He went on to have an even more amazing year than the one that made him (even more) famous, including winning Best Couple with Anikka at the 2015 Venus Berlin.
He continued his top level performing, starring in dozens of movies. His directing was the best it has ever been. He, wife Anikka Albrite and Maestro Claudio formed the BAM Visions studio, which quickly garnered a Best New Imprint nomination for the 2016 AVN Awards and Best New Studio for the 2016 XBIZ Awards (as well as many other nominations from both organizations).
He and Annika appeared in the mainstream movie Chimney or Pit and both made breakthroughs with the mainstream media, including a GQ profile and Bustle naming him among “Male Porn Stars You’re Going to Be Obsessed With.†He was called on to talk fashion and is often referred to as the James Bond of porn.
“This has been an unimaginable year that I wouldn’t have dared dream would happen,†Mick said. “I am so happy with how things have gone. I have the greatest wife in the world and both of our careers are at the very top of our industry. It’s incredible. We are very grateful for everything we have achieved.â€
Highlights of the year also include Mick Blue’s Reverse Gangbang (a feat soon to be repeated), the reenactment of his wedding night for Mason in Eternal Passion 4 (Erotica X), doing Riley Reid’s first boy/girl anal for Tushy.com, snapping up Kendra Lust’s anal virginity in Miss Tushy (Tushy.com) and being part of Jesse Jane’s first-ever B/B/G for Jesse Sex Machine (Jules Jordan Video).
He is certainly being recognized for his work, with Mick and BAM receiving a combined 40 nominations for the 2016 AVN Awards and XBIZ Awards.
His AVN nominations include Male Performer of the Year, Favorite Male Performer, Best Director – Non-Feature for Anikka’s Anal Sluts (BAM Visions) and 3 for Most Outrageous Sex Scene. XBIZ noms include Male Performer of the Year, Director of the Year – Non-Feature Release and Gonzo Release of the Year for Anikka’s Anal Sluts, and 5 Best Scene nods.
