Evil Angel Indicted: As most of you have already heard, Evil Angel owner John Stagliano has been charged by a grand jury with several counts of obscenity. The complete list of “obscene” titles is not out yet, though Jay Sin’s “Milk Nymphos”, Joey Silvera’s “Storm Squirters 2” and the online trailer for Belladonna’s “Fetish Fanatic 5” have been listed by name. A guest review of Milk Nymphos 2 will be posted later today. You can read more about this in the AdultDVDTalk.com forum threat on the issue. John was calm when talking to AVN.com. “I don’t sell obscenity according to how the law is defined, and I am sure in the end there will be a positive resolution to this,” he said. The Feds will be up against Al Gelbard who successfully defended Jeff Steward and JM Productions against similar charges last year. Mystic Pieces: Oddly enough this news comes a day after I finally got to review John’s classic Mystic Pieces. It has been nearly two decades since I first saw it, and it still resonates today. Tori Wells is fantastic in this movie. She never looked better and does a three on one scene at the end that really helped turn her into a huge star. Any of you who liked her as a Vivid Girl will love her in this. I was going to write about the fact that John and I talked during our 2002 Interview at Casa de Buttman about me doing an audio commentary when he finally released this movie on DVD. I think that given the current situation I will hold off on the ball busting and just remind everyone that this really is a great movie. Maybe I can hound John for a commentary track on the Blu-Ray release.

Hey Rog, Off hand, would you happen to know where I might locate a copy of “The Adventures Of Dickman And Throbbin” for sale. Can’t seem to find it anywhere.
I get asked about this one a few times a year. When I did my Review of Dickman & Throbbin I didn’t realize that it was out of print. It was one of the movies I reviewed from my own collection. As of right now I can’t find it anywhere on the web. I even tried some sites that still carry VHS. As of right now, no one has it. I even checked Ebay and I don’t see one. Sorry about that. Anyone know who owns that one? Sorry I wasn’t more help.
