Mope Feedback & Call to Action
More on Mopes: Yesterday I posed a “Mope or Not” question and the feedback is starting to come in. Some of you still aren’t sure exactly what a mope is. Maybe we should work on a longer piece that more clearly defines the term. First I need to clarify something. When I use the term “mope” I don’t mean it in an especially derogatory manner. I realize that it’s not quite as flattering as porn “star” or porn “stud” but when I use the term mope there is no disrespect intended. So what is a mope? What qualifies a male performer as a mope? Is it just the kind of movies he’s in? There have been some recognizable male performers in bukkake movies after all. I don’t think any of us would consider Brandon Iron to be a mope. It is perhaps a male performer that the casual porn fan wouldn’t know by name? Maybe someone who rarely if ever gets to fuck girls one on one and only gets hired to add volume to a sticky facial? Does the size of the guy’s dick factor in at all? Are all mopes moderately hung by definition? What about ethnic mopes? Are there “blopes”? Can someone go from a mope to a porn stud and back? What about the other way around? And while we’re at it, does gay porn have it’s own collection of mopes? Call to Action: With the Evil Angel news this week most of the boards are lining up firmly behind John as they should. An avid fan. Yeah, I also love getting “fan” mail that starts out “Yo fuck-o.” (Mom I told you to STOP writing me here.) I realize you’re mostly “taking the piss out of me” but I would gladly review the movie should one come way. Let’s face it though, one won’t. Everywhere Skeeter has been, I get removed from screener lists. It doesn’t always stick and usually changes once he leaves, but it’s been this way for years. Metro, Sin City (I actually had a friend call me from there and ask who I pissed off to get on the “no fucking way” list.) and even Robert Hill. (Mike Ramone sends me his stuff on his own and I thank him for that even when his movies make me want to curl up in a ball for a weekend.) So “Avid Fan/Real Smut Fan 6969” I won’t avoid this movie. I’m actually curious. How true is Skeeter to his title this time? Are the cumshots actually going to be down the throat? I have had people ask for this very thing over the years and can never think of a movie where the cumshots are so far down the throat that the girls can’t even play with the loads. At any rate I wish Skeeter all the best with this latest project and leave the door open to him any time he has something to say, something to promote or something to get off his chest. The world needs perverted film makers who give the audience what they want to see.

ESPN News HD: Totally unrelated to porn, but has anyone watched ESPN News since they went to HD? The picture is amazing, but what the hell? I have long hated the running tickers at the bottom of news/sports stations, but this looks like an ADD kid’s runnin-on-no-Ritalin nightmare. A main screen, a ticker at the top, a “breaking news” ticker at the bottom that flashes and scrolls all the time, mini box scores on the left and a promo box in the lower left corner. It’s like trying to watch the MLB Extra Innings Mix Channel. Someone please just slow it down. Too much freaking information.
