Finalist Breakdown Part 1: Favorite Female Performer
The 2008 FAME Awards have entered the final stage of voting. Fans who want to help pick the most popular porn stars in the world have until June 4th to vote. Go to www.TheFAMEAwards.com to vote. Let’s take a look at the finalists and break it down a bit. Keep in mind, this is a fan based voting so popularity is going to play a big part in who I think is likely to win.
Favorite Female Starlet: Last year Tera Patrick won the award and she is in the finals again. No real surprises here. Most of the women on this list are contract stars, high profile cross-overs or just the very best of the best in gonzo porn. Vivid is kind of out of the loop here, with Tera being the only vaguely Vivid-y girl on the list. The three contract starlets, Jesse Jane, Stormy Daniels and Tera Patrick should all do well. They have the name, they have big companies and they certainly have the fan support. They are also the only three on the list who don’t do anal which is rather interesting. The rest of the field consists of some of the dirtiest girls in porn and some of the hottest as well. Belladonna always scores well with the fans and girls don’t get much dirtier than she is. Tory Lane is a bit of a surprise here. She’s great, but to see her make it over Hillary Scott, Gianna Michaels and Bree Olson is a tribute to her popularity with the fans. The other three women are at the top of their game right now. Jenna Haze, Sasha Grey and Eva Angelina It would be tough to argue against any of these three as the best performer of 2008. Since this isn’t about the best, but the most popular, it is nice to see these women get recognized. If I have to pick one to get my vote, it’s going to be Jenna Haze this year. Strong field, but she is just awesome. Who do I think will win? I’m going to predict back to back wins for Tera Patrick.
