Moonlight Entertainment Titles Available Again

Last month Freedom Distribution acquired the rights to the video catalog formerly owned by Moonlight Entertainment. Freedom is set to release the 177 titles on VHS and is will begin rolling DVDs off the line. Titles will be on DVD at the rate of five per month, giving porn fans a chance to see some late 80’s and early 90’s titles in the improved format.

The deal will include distribution of some of Moonlight’s classic titles such as “The Mad Tickler”, “My Bare Lady” and the successful “Radical Affairs” series. Fans can also hope to see the “Lucy” movies where porn couple Blondi and Tony Montana lampoon the most famous sitcom in TV history. Director Scotty Fox worked on these and many other Moonlight titles, bringing a unique sense of humor to his light features. Parodies like “Pornocchio”, which features Damien Cashmere as the man whose unit grows with every lie he tells, and “Nightmare on Porn Street” where hot girls are tormented by sexual dreams, are just a couple of the titles that delight the funny bone as well as make the boners rise.

In addition to the light-hearted sex comedies, Moonlight had one of the first lines to use a video magazine format. “Radical Affairs” gave fans hot sex mixed with interviews and interesting guests. It also just happened to bring us some of the biggest stars of the time and a number of future big timers. Volume 5 features a blistering sex scene between Rocco Siffredi and black superstar Dominique Simon on top of a sports car. A very young Asia Carrera makes one of her very first appearances in Volume 7. The line also featured one of Porsche Lynn’s first anal scenes, early appearances by Brittany O’Connell, PJ Sparxx and Nikki Dial.

The release of these classic movies will give fans a chance to see performances by a number Moonlight favorites. Moonlight was fond of using some of the hottest women from that time period including Brit Morgan, Aja, Angela Summers and Meagan Leigh. Titles like “Nasty Newshounds” will give porn fans a rare chance to see Ms. Leigh in action. She appeared in a number of videos for the company and won scores of fans before tragically taking her own life in the early 90’s. Since her titles are very difficult to find on DVD, this new distribution deal will give fans a chance to collect her best scenes or see her in action for the first time.
